That's because BW took a whole season to move past the maturity level of Looney Toons.
Really...cause I remember far more corny jokes and potty humor in season 2 and 3 of BW than than season 1 of BW. Waspinator is a total will E coyote joke in s2 and s3. I think many episodes in S1 are actually darker and more serious than things seen in s2 and 23. Silverbolt is reminiscent of Dudley Do-Right, which I know isn't Looney Tues, but still. I see immaturity and maturity throughout the series.

I don't know what everyone is on about. The first 5 seem to set the ground work of the show, yea, it does get better, but it also gets worse from there. I feel it's more watchable show than say armada. It never stops being over the top, bumblebee and soundwave never talk, it tries to be more epic than it is. Some episodes are a bit more calm, and I've liked those ones. It is a kids show, you need to remember that. I think for what it is, it's ok, I certainly didn't fall in love with it like many others did though. If you hate it, don't waste your time, watch something else.
