I met Downshift at the Toronto Transformerscon (I think it was Downshift) and he was showing off the japanese PS2 G1 game, he told me that it was playable on a on modded PS3 becaue its not region locked.
recently I found a few on ebay so I looked up if this was possible.
From what I saw all PS3s can play any PS3 game from any region, but the PS2 and PS1 games are still region locked.
can anyone here tell me if thie japanese game is realy playable on a PS3?

Just with a modchip or some cracked Reader firmware but that risk that you couldn't play online anymore and get the newest updates for your PS3.
