A remake- not a transfer but a ground-up remake- of Final Fantasy IV? I... I've found it on several websites and most of them are pretty good about catching hoaxes, but while it looks legit at this point, I just can't bring myself to believe it. I want it too much to face the disappointment.

it seems that its headed to the DS, or at least thats what I have been able to figure out from various websites.

I don't see why they wouldn't. The FFIII conversion was highly successful and FFIV is even more known to the US audience than III was.

Makes me wonder if they remake V and VI as well if this is true. I'm kind of hoping for VI to be remade if any, some of the battles would look quite interesting in 3D, espicially the ones where your in magitech armor or the boss battle while running away from the train.

I just found the screenshots from Jump and I can't stop staring.

*throws inner cynic out the window* YE-EAH!

If they do V and VI after this, I'll have my whole winning hand in upgraded DS form. Not to get ahead of myself- I still can't get over III and now this! IV 'twas the very first I played.

well, there was a techdemo before VII like this, didn't look bad.
