That Damn Citroen C4 has come along again and shown that simple, yet effective transformations can be done without all this Bay-former stuff!

I believe the idea behind the movie TF's though was for them to transform without looking like they were cheating, so you could see car parts & such in their robot modes. That Citroen one.....where does the head come from?
But other than that, yeah it prety much proves that Alternator-esque TF's would have worked just fine.

Never thought about the head but since the front end doesnt move much i guess it could all be part of the engine bay under there.
The only thing that i can see that 'cheats' is where the seats go.

I don't know... The robots look cool and all, but they seem too skinny to pull off as TFs. The 'Bots wouldn't look as heroic or the 'Cons wouldn't look as intimidating to me...
