Did they kill another icon off with him. I myself have no problem with the death of an autobot but always thought Jazz was one of the untouchables. IMHO I think they should have killed off another caracter such as a WindCharger or made a new one just to die thats just my $0.02. Other than that the movie was realy awesome!

I'm glad they killed this Jazz because I don't want to see him in any further movies. This Jazz is the equivalent to Jar Jar Binx in Star Wars films.

And when Ironhide and Ratchet said "We couldn't save him", I was laughing inside because I was thinking "Well why would you, Ironhide and Ratchet died in TF:TM and Jazz got by without a scratch?"

No he survived the cartoon movie. I figure that in order to make a lasting burning impression you need to kill a fan favorite from time to time... bye bye Jazz and Megs, though Megs is probably temporaryly dead... He should get better after a long rest.

As I recall, people HATED that Ironhide died in the original movie.

The saddest death for me was of Brawl, he has been kept secret and is getting his own Leader class figure. If he was going to show up late in the movie and die like 10 minutes after why is he so significent?

i didnt really mind that jazz died. i wish he hadnt cuz he was one of my favourite guys, but it didnt bother me that much because of his attitude. it just was kinda wierd, but it could sometimes be funny. if only they expanded on his character, then i would be more devastated with his death.
ii aam glad that ironhide and ratchet did survive though. i did enjoy their characters and i see them being more involved in #2.

He got torn in half, and Rachet officially announced him KIA.

I'm assuming Rachet is specialist enough to know when a patient is "dead" by Autobot standards..

As for Megatron, he's a totally different animal. He has along and storied history of cheating death.

I wouldn't call him a bad-ass. He's more of a guardian, and every guardian has to be able to fight in order to protect.

It's not like he took down Starsceam or Megatron...

Predaprince- Agreed. I love Jazz to death, but after seeing his display at the movie, I really wasn't that sad. They won't butcher him anymore than they already have.

True, he did die like a solidier, but i just wanted his battle to be more than just him talking trash and getting torn up like that.

At least they handed his pieces to Prime...

Bumblebee actually felt a bit more like Hot Rod to me after looking at it.

Bumblebee was supposed to excell at one thing, communicating with the humans, and doing his best to stay the heck out of the way. Until he became Gold Bug and lead a group of other small vehicles.

I never found his toy, so I never got to read his Bio. I wonder what his official function was?

CliffJumper was like Bumblebee with an attitude, and a HUGE sniper rifle. Bumblebee always just had a little dinky pistol.

I was a bit upset at Jazz's death. A character who's first line is "s'up bitches" shouldn't die, but then again I guess he shouldn't have been second in command then.....
