KFC Citizen Stack vs MP-22 Masterpiece Ultra Magnus
I've seen talk about both KFC Citizen Stack and the recently released MP-22 Masterpiece Ultra Magnus, but I haven't seen many comparisons between the two yet. They both look like good figures to me at very different price points.
The only thing that rubs me the wrong way about Citizen Stack is that the rear tandems on the tractor cab aren't in line with the wheels on the rest of the cab, otherwise I like the figure. I've also read some mumblings about the robot mode not holding together very well.
The only bad things I've heard about MP-22 is that it's not very poseable due to the bulk of the robot form. Although from the pictures I've seen, it seems a lot more poseable than my City Commander figure, so that's an upgrade for me regardless. Also it's the price. It's nearly $200 with shipping factored in.
So how do you all compare these two figures?

I am not a MP collector but citizen stack is a piece of s**t by default because it was made by KFC. Just treat yourself to MP-22 and be done with it. If you care about quality, dont worry about spending an extra $50-75. You get what you pay for. Dont get burned with KFC. Trust me on that...

No contest MP Mags wins everytime ive not had stacks but in comparison i hate everything it. about.
MPM is one of those figures were as soon as i pulled it out the box it was
it looks perfect nothing i would change, articulation maybe not superposable but thats the only down point i can give him
The transformation is one of the funest ive done for a while, i think that mainly due to me expecting the worse with him being so big.
Robot alt tranformation altogether it gets 10/10
Stacks just the robot mode alone is a terrible size and i just dont like the way he looks its just not UM, takara nailed it.

That doesn't answer the question...
For me, Ultra Magnus is SO much better than I thought it'd be, and I had high hopes already.

Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

I'm curious to know your reasons as well. Right now I'm actually leaning toward MP-22, but still curious nonetheless.

Re: KFC Citizen Stack vs MP-22 Masterpiece Ultra Magnus
KFC Citizen Stacks is the toy I like better. It has more articulation and I like the sculpt better. Think the sculpt did a great job of combining sleek and bulky in one beautiful toy. Suggest Getting V2, If you get V1, Then ask for the replacements parts. Would also advise getting The SXS kit.
That's not to say I hate the MP-22 toy because I don't. Think it's one of Takara's greater MP TF toys. Just wish the Walking hips had more range of movement. There are more areas on the robot mode that I think needed more articulation. The Butt flap on the back of the robot mode is another problem I don't like.
Scale does not bother me. I could care less if I have stand alone toys or ones that blend in better or not. If the toy looks awesome and high quality, I'm not prepared to let toy scales prevent me from buying it. As I stated I don't think KFC Citizen Stacks is a stand alone toy. as It's currently on my shelf with MP-01, MP-05 and it's waiting for MP-24 to join them.
As far as pricing goes, Think paying $109 or $129 or $139 for a Almost Supreme scale toy that has MP styled sculpting and MP Articulation is a really low price to pay. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu ... egory=9302

i can honestly say im glad youre happy Tsu. you seemed worried that MP22 meant you couldnt enjoy your CS back when he was revealed. dont let other peoples opinions ruin the enjoyment of the toys YOU like

Yeah, shajaki is right. As long as you enjoy Stack, then enjoy the hell outta him.

Citizen Stack is kinda flimsy looking for my taste. That thin plastic looks...scary.
I like the design but I definitely prefer MP-22- more G1 accurate and much, much chunkier.

I reckon some citizen stacks would make excellent bowling pins.
