ConDrewfus wrote:You guys may be able to help me. I'm a Mac user and I got my wife hooked. She also plays WOW and would like a laptop for graduation. However, The largest screen for a Mac is 17" and crazy expensive and with sh!t I don't need.
So here's the dilemma, I need to get the wifey a Gaming laptop that can be networked with my home Mac. It has to be a smooth transition and I don't like Window's Vista. So how do I get a Window's laptop that is new that will use XP not Vista and that will smoothly network with my Mac?
Any help would be appreciated. Graduation is on Dec 15th.

Many Dell Laptops are available with XP still. Also, in terms of networking, do you mean sharing files? It is really easy to do that, I've had no problems sharing drives between a Mac and a PC.
