I am happy with my Generations Deluxe Swerve but could be persuaded to grab a Trash-Talk if hes no smaller than Classics BB/CJ.
Anything smaller makes him Scout which I am not a big fan of so we need to see some comparison shots please Maketoys.
I am more than happy with my SXS Continuously Variable as my Gears!

Im trying to understand other peoples point of view, but in this case Im flat out failing to get it. Maybe you can explain why people want an A-10 Warthog to be the scale of a smart car. Toy accurate minibot scale was stupid in 1985 and its still stupid today. Im not trying to be offensive. This is just my personal opinion.

I'm more into bot-mode scales than alt mode ones, since those will always be off as soon as we have the likes of Starscream and Jazz being sold in the same size-class. The cartoon is very wonky on comparative sizing, as are the old comics, albeit to a lesser extent. The only relatively consistent sizes I had when I was a kid were the toys. That's a little different now that some characters get released in 20 different versions across all sizes, but I still prefer my little guys to be little. Powerglide is a great example because his entire character is based off a small man complex. He's the Transformer equivalent of Mighty Mouse. Classics Bumblebee is the absolute largest I'd ever want a minibot character, and honestly, he's a little too big for my liking, but works in my collection because of how much of a major character he is compared to some of the others. (And I still have my Japanese Legends BB in my Minibots lineup)

Especially with 3rd parties, although the new Hasbro Legends are catching up, I'm also really excited to get such small toys with such character and clever engineering. Sure they're no MP style panel-ma-doos, but toys like iGear's Rager or MTs Powerglide did some really quite cool things for that size of toy. They're pretty fun to just have sitting on a desk and pick up and play with whilst waiting for something to load on my PC or something.

They're also a lot cheaper than making every character in deluxe size, and I'm all for filling out my Autobot and Decepticon ranks with relative non-entities for a small price.


edit:of course, as I hit "submit" I looked around to see Deluxe Warpath staring at me. I'll hypocritically excuse him by saying that he got a size upgrade to match his larger than POW! life persona KABLOOEY!

They're thinking MTMTE and Swerve are currently fan-favorites and eveything they can do to make him comic-acurate (the "dead" face, the tray and energon drinks, and that gun) will also make him a success. And they're most definitely right.

We know the G1 cartoon is your "bible" X and i can respect that but untill you have give the MTMTE comics a read you don't really know what your not liking , the comics are an amazing take on these updated g1 characters personality's and this swerve like synapse said is an excellent set with all the accessories.

They gave him a freaking clown gun. It looks like it's going to shoot bubbles for crying out loud. Wheelie's slingshot was bad enough in G1. This is worse in my opinion.

In the comics, that particular gun is what you might call a gag.

I like this look better.

That's the point, he's a terrible shot because his hands are too small and stubby to hold normal guns. That gun was specially made for him by Brainstorm to make fun of him and his poopy shooting.
Complete with mocking sound effects. Seriously, give them a try, start with MTMTE vol 1 and continue reading, you'll love the comics.
And you'll be rolling on the floor once he packs that gun, which ruins all his badass one liners.

Yea, gotta get this now. It's not an MP, but it's Swerve and comes with one of the greatest guns ever, so much win in this set, plus it comes with a free bonus Gears.

Truly awesome looking figures, and the accessories that come with Swerve are genius.

But Cybertronian alt. modes just don't work for me with these two characters.

Lol and dont forget GDO wheelie. I have him with my late G1 japanese characters like if he grew up. Im hoping Igear does their wheelie. I do like mini bots small but not that much smaller. If a 6 foot tall adult was to be compared to a deluxe size figure, I would consider the perfect mini bot scale to be the height of your average 10 year old kid. Those G1 brick mini bots that come up to a deluxes knees are the equivalent of a chucky doll. Its real hard for me to accept a scale thats sole purpose is quick and easy toy sales and never really existed in the cartoon or the comic. I think scout class windcharger is perfect scale. Its a shame Hasbro abandoned that class. I wish they would have pushed it and ended legends scale all together. I never understood how something small enough to be a mcdonalds happy meal toy could be passed off as a serious figure worthy of retail. Just my opinion.

I like how my Legends figures look crawling all over my Metroplexes.

Showed my brother these guys and he laughed his butt off, so I'd say these are an instant buy. I just hope BBTS will carry these.

I dunno, I'd be happy with a deluxe if it were around Sideswipe/Sunstreaker's size. I highly doubt we see another though.
