I'm thinking they are wrong and its bigger. since the robot thighs, fist, arms look too beefy.

This is really nice looking. Depending on size and price, I could see using this as my War Within Megs, though there's not much wrong with the Titanium version...

This looks promising. I'd like it if it matched Hasbro's Orion Pax. THen again, I want a larger Orion Pax figure.

It's difficult to judge a figure based on beefyness. What I would recommend is looking at his hands. Why? Because if you assume that the hands have the HasTak-standard 5mm hole, then you can sort of judge the rest of the figure.

If that's a 5mm hole (and let's be fair, it could very well not be), then we're looking at a largish voyager IMO.

Who knows? He may be awesome enough to replace ToyWorld's Megatron.

I'll buy this. Probably going to be $100 if it's voyager size. Are these the same guys that is making the blaster figure that's not out yet?

Oh wow, we went since 2005 without a figure based on this design, and now we're getting two. I was going to say that we should merge this thread with the previous one, but now that I look at it, this version is more comic accurate than the Shadow Samurai 01 Vetron version.

Damn, I'm liking this a lot, can't wait to see it in its painted glory.

Pleeeeeeeaaaaase be voyager. I love Hegemon, I really do. But he's too big by just the smallest of margins.

Yes this is a tank Megatron. No it isn't based off of the War Within design.

I like this a lot. I wish MegaSteel would hurry up and release Blaster so we can see their QC is going to be.

That's looking about the same height as Hegemon, maybe slightly taller at the head. This is looking more and more like a buy for me.

1.0 Voyager Optimus is a 6.4 inches tall robot mode. MS-01 might be 6.7 inches tall from head to toe in robot mode.

I won't be buying MS-01, As it's not a leader scale toy.

One down,Two to go. Now, I'm just hoping SSL Vetron and BF Gladius are both leader scale toys.

What's the deal with the forearms or elbows, Do they have any rotate swivels in them. I am not seeing any, Which worries me.

Looks like wrist swivels & upper arm swivels. One above the elbow, one below. That's plenty for me. This is definitely a buy.

i hadent thought of that until you mentioned it. but yeah... that is kinda silly. but just for the sake of argument, so is a green tank with purple camo

back to this figure, its amazing. that tank mode is odd looking though, it looks like its raised in the front. is this quite accurate? and its to dreamwaves war within?

Look at the picture of him pointing his arm cannon forward and slightly up. You can see the arm slightly twisted above the square block in the bicep.

I think I might have started the confusion with War Within. I was thinking about this to replace my Titanium War Within Megs as a pre-earth version. This is actually based off of more recent IDW stories, as I understand it. I remember seeing this design in some of the comics I had picked up, though I had not kept up with the current IDW line much. Some design/transformers cues are similar between this and the WW comics. But this is definitely not the WW design.
