Nice. Japanese cartoon colors? How good is this mold in hand? I've only put this mold off due to his size for my classics collection. Love sixshot but do i want him towering my collection?????

He's a great sculpt and quite a tough built. Totally recommended.
This seems to be MMC's response to Clonedroid's KO, hmmm?

What's the robot size? bigger? Assume regular scale.

If that's a new helmet. Then either it comes with a new face plate. Or the It's a new helmet, With a New face plate underneath the helmet.

Like the added painted on stickers and newer colors.

This is a dream, Since I disliked the original robot head, guns and matte colors.

huh. there could be some truth to that

it seems my apathy has paid off once more. first with mania king, now this! i think ill bite this time. dunno what the head sculpt looked like before, but i sure like the new one.

I think MMC said they wanted to release this alternate version not long after the initial release of the figure. People noticed certain paint apps that changed from proto pics to the initial release, which caused MMC to comment. However, quite some time has passed since all of that discussion.

I'm glad he's getting a new release, but I'm happy with the original version. I don't need the chromed weapons. I still debate whether or not to get the black version. Will say that this is a very neat figure and should be in many fans' collections.

when i read metallic finish, i picture united. this proto looks like flat plastic all over to me...

Preordered. This looks to be a bit closer to those WfC colors they teased/had us vote on before the initial Hex release. I was hoping they'd release him in those colors so much so that I never bought the original release version. That metallic purple looks awesome. I'd like to see better pics of the rest of him to get a better idea of what they did. The green looks glossy but it's hard to tell just how metallic it is.

Honestly, I wish I could just buy the new tailfins and put them on the old figure myself. Theyre alot less obtrusive and look like they wont block arm posing as much.

On the paintjob itself, other than the metallic finish and a little more pink, I dont see whats the difference. Im not sure how metallic paint is considered "comic accurate". I didnt know they printed comic books in metallic ink.

Are you referring to the 1987 Sixshot toy you bought? Or are you referring to the MMC Hexatron first release toy you bought?

I ask the questions, Because I don't recall you saying you bought the MMC Hexatron toy.

I only own the original Hexatron. I dont own any version of the vintage brick toy. It appears this new Hexatron has tailfins on his chest that are shorter and will probably be less in the way. Im not a fan of the large fins.

I've got the for release of Hexatron Also. Had the toy on pre-order for over a year.

Always liked the first release Hexatron chest wings. As I disliked the original 1987 Sixshot chest wings.

Probably going to buy this newer Hexatron. As it fixed all the things I disliked on the 1st release Hexatron. Love the Newer guns sculpt, Newer head. Thought the original hexatron colors were too matte and a bit washed out. These higher glossy, deeper colors look nice on the toy.

my eyes are broken. i really cant see the "metallic finish" everyones talking about..

Also saw newer pics today. Why does Hex-Continum appear to have off white, light beige plastic on the upper legs and robot arms. the wings on Continum appear to have a blue-green tint in them. Don't like any of this.

Prefer the more white color on the legs and arms on the first release of Hexatron.

Hoping all of this is bad lighting or a bad camera flash in those Hex-Continum pics.

want the more white color used not bone-white, beige, off white or whatever color it is on Continum.

Not sure if these are new, but here are official pics from MMC's FB. Blaster rifles now comes with additional pegs on both sides that allows them to be attached aideways, and definitely a better looks at the new paintjob.

Kinda wish MMC sells a kit of the newer robot head and Two newer guns sculpts.

Don't like all of the dark blue-purple and light sky blue highlights colors on this toy.

Need to see side by side comparisons with the first release hexatron toy. To confirm Continum has that darker off white bone colored beige on the arms and thighs. Prefer the pure white the first release Hexatron has.

Think if you've already bought the first release Hexatron toy. This Continum doesn't add much to warrant also buying it.

y'know, its not like i didnt heavily research hexatron when he first came out. but there was something about him that put me off. dont know what it was... but right now this new version is blowing my socks off. this time around, im totally down.

Well just call me 'Floppy-Mc-Flopperson'. These new pics make him look way less WfC and way more 'old, faded, yellowed G1 figure' to me.

Sorry MMC, you almost had me, but once again, you lost me. Still no MMC figs for me.

Now, if you guys do decide to actually release a true WfC style deco version of Jonah Hex here, I'll buy him, but otherwise, I'm probably out (unless they come up with some totally crazy/awesome colorscheme that scratches my itch for just plain badass lookin' bots [hint: dark metallic red and black would probably do it ]).

Having missed out on the original Hex, I'm definitely going for this one. It ticks most of the boxes for me and from those promo shots I actually prefer the look of it to the original. The chest fins look better and so does the head sculpt. I've always had a soft spot for Takara style chrome (generally, there are exceptions) and the metallic style paintjob + chrome decals reminds me of that.

A lot of people commenting on the beigey (is that even a word?!) look to the white. I actually really like it, I think it suits the new metallic tone of the figure. The only thing I'm a little bothered about is the light blue tint to the wings. Just don't think it goes that well. Otherwise I'm really liking the look of this one. Not fussed about the lack of swords either as I want him as part of my IDW continuity line up. Plus, the stag cleavers look even better so I may pick those up.
