-Yes, I use Apoxie Sculpt on all my customs may it be Transformers or Action figures.

I have to say, this is prob your best work yet. I hope the guy paid you well for it. :D

To answer your question about filling in any gaps in clear acrylic, you don't use a sculpting compound, you use clear 2-part epoxy resin; the same type you would use to glue things together. It works as a gap filler too.

Hmm... interesting I'll go check it out, thanks. Hopefully it will be clear not cloudy clear.

Looking great Mench0y! Getting the head right is worth every bit of effort and it's certainly paying off for you.

It looks like you used this design sketch* as reference (did you?):

The sides of the head are what really stand out, as well as the "cross" on Grimm's faceplate. Gorgeous work dude.

I really love how this is comming along Choy-boy. The head is just so aminated on it's own to where you can almost pull any exspesion from the guy on any angle.

Man, I look at what all of you are working on and to think how far you guys have come over the years and I can say that I couldn't be prouder of you guys and all the work you put in, not only for yourselves but to share the work and your secrets along the way so that we can grow as a society...

...Creepy. Sometimes I feel safer and more at home online then I do in the real world.

I can't wait too see how rounded it'll look when you clean up all those edges.

Good luck man and please, keep us updated.

Thanks bro. I feel very much at home here. I've learned so much from customizers here, very friendly atmosphere. Hopefully I'm able to contribute and help inspire others to start customizing. As I was inspired back then by customizers such as yourself. Thanks man, and thanks for building Transtopia.

Where do you get styrene, and how do you/is it hard to sculpt?

I'm very accident prone when it comes to blades, and am not the greatest 3-D sculptor...

Well, you don't sculpt with it, you fabricate pieces from it. It is mostly a process of cutting, gluing, filling, and sanding.

Go for it man, I'd love to see your version of any of the dinos. You know I had a lot of those E-Ironhide before too, but I had such a hard time building my first Grimlock so I decided to sell em. Never thought I'd be doing another dinobots again.
