Aw, that sucks for you Ryan! Mind you, I have zombie dreams all the time and I love them. My transformer dreams tend to revolve aroudn finding never seen episodes and not having enough money to buy them, so I get myself a "five finger discount", then I wake up thinking "I think I"ll watch that TF episode now... aw crap, it's not real".
I wish I could offer suggestions to alivate your zombie dream infestation, when I want TF dreams, I just read HEAPs of TF fanfiction, write HEAPs of it to the point I'm thinking of how Prime can kick the snot out of Megatron while I'm trying to remove a haemovac, or just watch hours and hours of G1.
And apparently if you eat apples or heavy fruit before you go to bed makes you have nightmares.
My recent screwed up dreams about Zombies and/or Zombie outbreaks

I read somewhere once that the only people who dream in color are crazy, which has had me a little worried over the years since I've always had full color dreams. I'm rather relieved to hear that theres more people out there who dream in color and arent crazy. I've never had the zombie dream, my recurrent dream has always been being trapped inside the Winchester Mansion and no matter what I do to try and escape I always end up trapped back inside with things that chase me.

While my "nightmare" dreams seem few and far between since hitting 20s I can empathize with the bulk of what's been covered here. What's freaked me out though was having the tooth come out dream weeks after experience my wisdom teeth being removed. The dream was like an encore removing the rest..Moonbase2 wrote:Seibertron wrote:Moonbase2 wrote:I too have extremely vivid dreams, and unfortunately for me most of them are nightmares. The first is tornadoes, a recurring nightmare for 11 years now. That one is pretty common and I've learned to wake myself up when I feel one starting. Another is my teeth falling out, and finally, the zombie dreams. These are particularly vivid and scary. They appear just as they look in the movies. I don't really get them right after watching a zombie movie (which I love); they come out of nowhere.
Stress might influence these dreams, and once you become more settled it might get better. There's no rhyme or reason to mine.
I hate the teeth falling out dream. That's one of the worst. Creepies!
/yeah, they are bad. And when I have them, I ALWAYS think it's real. And not only does my teeth wiggle and fall out, I also pull out nerves and pulp and stuff. YUCK! Not as bad as my "caterpillar lice" dream.

I do miss my TF dreams though, the toon movie really messed with my head back then. They always ended with me stuck in Meg's fussion canon and waking as a purple light blinded me. Atleast I was well rested though.
It's been at least a good decade since i've had a zombie related dream though. Can't say I envy you Ryan.

I've had Transformer dreams, and they are usually pretty cool. I will say, when my dreams are good, they are GREAT, if you get my drift...

THANK GOD others have dreams about their teeth... I never talk to anyone about my dreams at all, but the teeth thing is the one I remember when I wake up. Always bothers me. I dunno if it has to do with absolutely hating the dentist to the point where I flip out during a regular cleaning, or what, but those dreams suck.
As for the zombies, I'm glad I don't live down the hallway from any of you guys who are thrashing corpses all night, just in case you start acting it out while sleep walking. Lock your bedroom doors folks.

You know people who spend their nights thrashing corpses? Have they no respect for the dead?

That's weird, most people I know seem to dream in colour, including myself.
Can't say i've ever had any zombie dreams that I can remember, I used to have pretty detailed monster dreams as a kid but now my dreams mostly consist of being in really weird situations at work or in weird places with people from work.
But if zombies do attack I'm covered. When she was staying here, my sister and I got really drunk and stayed up late and made evacuation plans for zombie, werewolve, ogre and ghost attacks. Funny thing is we have them but no fire evacuation plan.

My dreams are not so easily influenced. I'd literally have to do something or think about something all day and fall asleep doing it in order to dream about it. Even when I went to BotCon, I didn't have any dreams relating to Transformers. And I rarely recall my dreams. I have to think about everything I dreamt of the moment I wake up to be able to remember it. I not sure if I dream in color or black and white. Maybe I dream in black in white, but know what's red, or blue, or etc.
And I usually have 1 of 6 kinds of dreams(from most to least frequent):
1. Superhero dream. You know, kill bad guys. Protect the weak. But mostly it's about the powers. I seem to always be able to fly in my dreams. But it's hard. I have to either concentrate on flying or be doing something else while I'm flying, like punching or something. Wasn't there something Froyd said about people who dream about flying? I also usually have telekenetic powers too. Moving stuff with my mind. Then there's invulnerability and super strength. I always seem to have those.
2. Supervillain dream. Yeah, not only do I have dreams about being good, but I also have dreams about being pure evil.
Sometimes I'm a superhuman and sometimes I'm a monster. And these are really violent dreams. Everything from punching people into a pulp or shreading them into a million bloody pieces. Really sick stuff. Though, I don't consider them nightmares b/c I actually enjoy them.
3. Sexual dreams.
These are much more rare than the other 2 and they vary. Sometimes it's actual sex. Sometimes it's romantic stuff, like just being around the girl I know I'm gonna live the rest of my life with.
And sometimes, and this is a little embarassing, I dream I'm ...a woman.
Not sure what that's supposed to mean.
4. Jackpot dreams. No, not like winning the lottery. Though, I wish I would have a dream like that, if nothing else but to get the winning numbers. I mean the dream where I find a holy grail goldmine of Transformers. Usually after a long dry spell.
5. Death dreams. Dreams where I am DEAD!
They're the only kind that freak me. Just because being dead in the dream doesn't seem that bad. I'm with God. I get to watch over my family. I see what happens to the world and mankind. It's kind of pleasant. I'm really curious what these kinds of dreams mean.
6. Premonitions. I know you guys probably won't believe me that I have "psychic dreams about the future", but I do on the rare occation. Sometimes it's small very insignifigant stuff. But sometimes it's major world events. Though they usually happen the day of, so there's not really any time to do anything about it. And I don't remember them anyway until I'm actually living it. Maybe I should go on Montel, or something.
Well, that's what comes out of my **** up sub-conscious.

1. My superhero dreams always end bad, but there so fun i don't consider them nightmares. I've had spiderman's powers only to hear the narrator say i don't see venom comming for me. Had Cyclops's powers, only to see everything crumbling in a shade of red. Even had wolverines claws, but apparently not his healing factor since i woke up from lightheaded blood loss. flight is really hard for me to start, I literally need to run, or almost like pedaling a bike, the effort of 2 ft to get 1 ft of lift. Once i'm a story high though it works fine. I'm not fond of hearing a narrator in my dreams though.
2. I've been mistaken for monsters while fighting monsters. I'm not sure if that counts though.
3. Axiom's reply to point three has been omitted due to the graphical nature of his answer. This is a family show *hears the questionable adds go "cliiiick oooon usss" a few times and cuts the volume again* ahem...
4. No jackpot dreams
5. I can't seem to die in my dreams. Anything that I can't imagine surviving on the spot I wake up from.
6.
no joke. When i was six years old i had a dream about my day in school. I talked to my Mom about it before going to school and had an argument with a teacher along with a few other specific things. Then i wake up and tell my mom the dream, she answers the same way she did in my dream (i didn't tell her how she would answer but i did say what the teacher told me in the dream) I went through the rest of the day and anything I specifically mentioned to my mom... happened.
That seriously freaked me out as i thought any dream were i didn't do something impossible would become probable.
That was the only time i experienced that though...
