Oh, the Chargers did win it. The problem is that they really are underachieving big time. Honestly, the way the Giants have been playing, the Chargers shouldn't have won by 1 point. Their personnel is just way too deep. Hell, I could coach that team to a better record than Crater Face. He is holding that team back. I'd love to see what a Bill Cowher or Tony Dungy could do with that team as opposed to one of the fabulous Turner boys.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Turners been the coach for 3 years and while the season record has gotten worse they have made it to the playoffs and actually won games compared to Mr. win it all and choke in the playoffs Schottenheimer. The chargers are predictable sometimes but in the end a win is a win, nobody bitchs about the coach unless you lose so until that time comes I'm ok with it.

True, winning makes everything better. But the fact remains: the Chargers should be winning MORE than they are. And the reason they aren't is because Norv is an idiot.

Wow.. That would be interesting..
I was thinking Bengals/Saints..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Cincinnati is good, but they aren't going to beat Pittsburgh. The Steelers have the most complete team in the league: a great QB, outstanding wideouts, an All Pro tight end, a very solid offensive line; a killer defense and a great coaching staff. Position by position, Pittsburgh is better than any team in the league.

Pitts 0

I saw that one coming. Orton is Orton. We dealt with him for years in CHicago and he is an average QB at best.
As for Pittsburgh, for some reason they alwasy seem to start out slow. I seem to remember that happening the last few years. They were also without Polamalu for that game. It's a completely different D with him in it...hell, the BEARS beat them without Polamalu..and the Bears are horrible. We'll see what happens in the second meeting. I'll stick by my statement though...position by position, no one in the league is better.

(sigh)
Three of those pics are the responsibility of the pathetic WR corps the Bears have. Their best receiver is the running back.
The Bears are, top to bottom, are horrible. The personnel decisions made by Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith have been horrid. They have gone with small fast defensive players that are now small, slow defensive players. This should be the end of their careers with Chicago.
Mark Shlereth (sp?) just made a great point. He said that if you are trying to build and train a QB, you have to have people around him...and the Bears just don't have anybody else on that offense at all. Period. It's an offense of a QB who's got a ton of upside and a bunch of guys that wouldn't start on any other team in the NFL.
Here's hoping this DOES cost Jerry and Lovie their jobs.

I've been with Jay for about 4 years now, and I have to say, well yeah he has his struggles, but he has so much potential as a QB. He has good determination, and even though the Bears are 4-5, they can still make it. The Bears need to accomodate their gameplay to Cutler's strengths. Not the small 5-10 yard plays accomodating to Orton last year, but the 15-20 yard plays that they should be doing for Cutler. Like seriously, the Bears have turned Jay Cutler into Rex Grossman and that does not make sense.

Absolutely! The problem is that their offensive weapons are so horrible that they simply cannot do that with the personnel they have right now. And Lovie just doesn't know how to handle it...which is why I say bring in Mike Shanahan.

Now you people understand what its like to be a Browns fan!
No matter how good of a QB we have(or his potential to be good), we still can't do anything because he always ends up on his ass because he has no receivers or anyone to protect him.
Tim Couch, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Garcia, Derek Anderson, and Brady Quinn could have all done great things here, but noooo...
Garcia even took the Buccaneers to the play offs after leaving the Browns.

I think we all feel a little Browns-like when our teams are in turmoil. I just thank the heavens that the Patriots didn't catch fire until after they were beaten by the Broncos. phew.

Nothing is more of a let down then with the Skins. They spend an S-load of money and yet nothing. I'm sure if the Browns had money to spend, something would happen.

I don't know what kind of financial situation the Browns are in, but it just seems they've made quite a few bad personnel choices as of late. SOunds like the front office needs an ovehaul.

The Browns owner spends all his time in Europe with the soccer team he owns. Almost nonexistent when it comes to Cleveland Browns operations

That sucks...seriously...how can someone value SOCCER over FOOTBALL? I mean, is there a more boring sport than soccer? a dozen guys lightly jogging around a 100+ yard field for three hours and if they are lucky, they score once between the two teams. Look, I have $200 bucks in the bank. I'll buy the Browns...that's about what their payroll is isn't it? Is someone looking to buy the team? As a Cubs fan, I feel your pain when it comes to "distracted" management (Tribune Company BURN IN HELL!)...but SOMEONE in Cleveland has to have interest in buying the team. CAn't Jim Brown put together a group?

Golf. Basketball. Volleyball. Amateur Wrestling. Baseball. Pretty much anything other than football and NASCAR. Yes, including F1 racing.

It's only 10 guys, and it takes a hell of a lot of cardio to stay in that shape. Unlike some fat ass defensive or offensive lineman who has to suck on an oxygen tank after every play. American football is fun, and yes, I am a fan of it, but soccer definitely requires more toughness, speed, agility, and brains.
