I never thought about how expressive the Jhiaxus wings could be! I like them posed straight up, that is a sweet look.

I feel like a bit of a bum since I have no version of that mold at all.

and Cram, that is such a cool head swap, and I love that evil shark Ramjet head!

Hey! I never once said anything about not being cool. I only said UM's head would also look cool... and maybe cooler to me. But I'm a UM Fanboy

So I have a theory-ish about certain sitcoms. GG may fit into this theory. Basically the main star of the show tends to be the normal/sane/balanced personality, where the other characters are typically one-sided or have a very distinctive defining characteristic. Almost to the point of the other characters being physical manifestations of the main characters other sides/personalities. I think Sex in the City is probably where I first noticed it. Golden Girls, How I Met Your Mother, The New Girl all seem to follow this pattern to a degree. With the exception of GG, all those other shows are stuff my wife watched and then sucked me into. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some, I'll think on it.

Thoughts?

I'm in love with this little dino! Very impressed with the BeastBox figure. Articulation is limited, but the build and deco are great. It's a fun little novelty transforming toy and I want the rest ;)^

Puddles is definitely a rabbit hole worth following

What does he measure in box mode? The Ape and the Mammoth are 2 inches in each direction. I was thinking the dino is smaller, but not sure.

Also love that tubby tummy on Bee. So what inspired you to pick him up, after being pretty happy (I think) with TR Bee?
was it the lil Ravage to go with the Soundwave you already have?

He's neat though. Looks like a cool simple little transformation, and he come with a gun damnit!

You know, I think you're right, he is totes Mc Mega Dino cool. I'd say about 1.5" across. Just a bit smaller than the others.

I was so impressed with their Soundwave and Ironhide I wanted to get more. Ravage was a pretty big selling point. He is a little chubber iddint he? Love alt-mode, so G1 SD-licious! Bot mode leave a little to be desired and not quite as nice as the other two and that hollow back. I figured a bit of a way to make it look better though. He comes with two back plates, a spare tire and bump they call nostalgia mode.

He is neat and the TF is fun and that gun is MP right on. He won't knock your socks off, but worth the small price of admission.

Oh hey! I just remembered. My buddy who I may have enabled to get a few BeastBOXes was showing me that not only is there the triceratops coming, but also a rhino who looks pretty dang rad. He showed me grey proto pics. I'll see if I can hunt them down later.

ALT-MODE!

Big surprise, I prefer everything about mp Bee's alt-mode. Size, shape, SD, paint; the nostalgia boner is strong with this one. I am using the "nostalgia bump" on his hinder. TR Bee does have one advantage here (even if the implementation is a little half-assed).

BOT MODE!

Note the un-kid friendly pointy horns of the 3p figure :twisted:

the head is also a dead ringer for the Masterpiece figure as well. I held mp Bee in front of MP bee this morning and the head perfectly overlapped. The entire bot mode of mp Bee is almost like a simplified version of MP Bee with the big difference being he is the goddamn correct COLOR!

Other than the obvious bias, mp Bee has a very decisive advantage over TR Bee.

Pew Pew Pew!

They are both hollow from behind in different ways. Adding either the bump or spare tire to mp Bee and tilting the back flap out a bit helps fill in the back a bit. How 'bout dat gun yo? Very MP, no? Articulation is pretty much the same on both, but TR has some unfortunate kibble and awkward joint placment.

Round kick to the face, I'm calling mp the clear winner. For $8 more, you get a much better toy and a gun ;)^
