A few interesting movies coming out:

Pandorum is coming soon, which looks pretty cool: two people waking up from suspended animation in a spaceship and not remembering who they are or what they're doing. Then freaky stuff happens. Looks like Alien/The Shining. I've seen it before with Event Horizon, but I loved Event Horizon, so I'm curious.

Also Zombieland. Another zombie comedy, but it looks good too. Probably won't outdo Shaun of the Dead, but I'm giving it a shot nonetheless.

There's also Daybreakers, about vampires needing to find some way of making their food supply last.

Early next year Legion comes out, which is about God getting fed up with humans and wanting to exterminate them (after planning the second coming of Christ?). If you see the trailer, watch the red band one. That old lady is crazy! Plus Darth Maul as an ice cream angel.

Halloween 2 soon enough.

Saw 6 is coming out in a couple months. I enjoy the Saw movies, but even I have to admit that this better be the last. Time to wrap it up.

I'm probably the only one not into seeing Jennifer's Body. Nowadays I need something original, and this one doesn't have that much originality for me. A demoness preying on men. Same thing, different age group. Not that Daybreakers sounds completely original, but it's got a bit more than this one.

Edit: Legion doesn't have Darth Maul; it's got Silver Surfer. I got my actors mixed up.

zombieland looks awesome. shaun of the dead was just stupid imho. if i want goofy movies i watch monty python

The only one I care to see is Halloween 2. And, yes, I will go see The Final Destination. But they come out on the same weekend!

When I went to see District 9, they showed a lot of horror movie trailers. Zombieland looks awesome; kind of looks like Shaun of the Dead which was equally awesome. Halloween II looked okay, the trailer was kind of chilling though. Legion...I don't know...I like Paul Bettany but the trailer made the movie look...well, I don't really have a word for it except blah.

I'm probably going to see all of the movies mentioned here. Zombieland looks pretty funny, but I'd rather have a 'real' zombie movie, something more along the lines of the book "World War Z". Although, I still think these movies are gonna have a hard time topping My Bloody Valentine, which was imo a GREAT horror.

Huh. I'm looking forward to seeing that one, especially the scenes with the old woman. Nothing creepier than an old woman who drops f-bombs and scurries around the ceiling.
