- Motto: ""The Best Things In Life Come MISB.""
I got mine in the mail yesterday. There's a ton of them up on Ebay already, but shop around because some people are asking crazy for them.
The human figures have pretty sloppy paint jobs IMO, Jack's fingers are painted so the flesh is practically dripping down his leg, and my poor Raf has a receding hairline that makes him look like he has a tumor. Both are easily fixable if you've got paint and the inclination.
Arcee is pretty chunky in motorcycle mode, and when transformed she is just as tall as Bumblebee.
Arcee's ankles are REALLY tight and when I was pulling the feet forward I was worried I was gonna snap them right off, but they've gotten easier each time you transform her.
Bumblebee's Autobot symbol is completely covered up by the tabs on his chest if you transform him 'correctly' however there's a lot of different ways you can adjust his chest and torso and still have it look nice. I was diappointed with his 'doorwings' Since they aren't on ball joints he is limited in his range of 'expression' with them. He's a little fiddly to get back into vehicle mode. But he looks great, the teal plastic bits really make his yellow pop, and the checkers on the cab deco are cute.
Their eyes are sculpted to be amazingThey rounded the blue plastic of the eyes to give them real depth and dimension.
Arcee's pink looks a lot better in hand than on pictures taken with a white background. As long as she still comes in blue (which she will) I think it makes a lot of sense to release her at least once in the colors of her G1 namesake, even if those colors are pepto bismol pink.
The packaging is really easy to open without damaging it, so if you wanna take them out, and then put them back in, it is pretty quick. And yeah, the packaging is awesome, and works great for display.
