rattrap
One of those many encyclopedia on the web descibe him as transformers who frequents bars and nightclubs and is a womanizer. Okay,is he a womanizer?I never acted that way with Airrazor who he was very respectful to and neither to Silverbolt's girl.Silverbolt acted more like a womanizer than Rattrap.

Ugh, do you even know what "Womanizer" means? Silverbolt had interest in ONE woman, which DOESN'T MAKE HIM A WOMANIZER!

Rattrap made a statement in one episode concerning a bar on Cybertron where the servingbots are walking around minus their torso plates if you know what i mean.
Does that make him a Womanizer? Not necessarily. But then again, he IS a rat.

Um yea I gotta second what Damolisher said. A womanizer is a man who treats women as objects, things that only good for cooking, cleaning, and makeing babies and with more than one woman.babylon queen wrote:One of those many encyclopedia on the web descibe him as transformers who frequents bars and nightclubs and is a womanizer. Silverbolt is the exact oppisite of a womanizer. He respected women as equills, treated them like people, and was only ever interested in Blackarachnia. Silverbolt was perhaps OVERLY polight and respectfull to everyone, a corny steriotypical hero.
I highly doubt Rattrap was even a womanizer or at least they couldn't really show it in the U.S. cartoon because then they'd have to ban it. They can imply things such as the line about not haveing chest plates but anything beyond that is a strict no no.

Not quite. A womaniser would be best described as "a man who engages in love affairs with women he cannot or will not marry. The love affairs are typically sexually motivated, with little emotional attachment."
A definition that doesn't apply to Rattrap, Silverbolt or any Transformer character actually.
And Leo's right, it's "love rat" not "lust rat". Never even heard of the term "lust rat" before.
I'm guessing BQ was looking at some Wikipedia (or some other fan editted wiki-style site) entry. Best to ignore those websites and just come straight to a forum and ask questions.
Oh and Whiner-Tron, you might want to be careful as the Mods aren't too fond of pics like that in threads.

Yeah, that comment about visiting Cybertron clubs with plateless fem-bots gave me the feeling he liked to hit up the seedy part of Cybertropolis.

Lust Rat isn't a term I just said it because if we're talking about Rattrap being a womanizer love has nothing to do with it.Burn wrote:And Leo's right, it's "love rat" not "lust rat". Never even heard of the term "lust rat" before.
If you're after a woman just for sex and have no real emotional attachment to her, that's Lust.

I disagree.

I took the liberty of highlighting #3 so that you can see how love and lust can be construed as the same thing.
And because of that I was content to let things slide, but seeing as you felt you needed to get the last say in (something I do believe you bitched at me for doing once) then I should also point out that the term "love rat" is far more common than the term "lust rat", which in fact may be a term you just made up.
Now, are we done?

One could argue that the BotCon exclusive Rattrap gives information as to his Cybertronian form. It's not concrete and is a retcon but it is a start.
And a love rat is just one who romances or sleeps with more than one person, often when all the culprit's partners have no knowledge of one another.

Okay; Burn, Saber Prime, if we're going to do this right, one of you will have to change their name to "Damolisher" and the other to "Tramp".
Please, can't we all just let this go? I really don't want to see a new Tramp War.
