return of beast wars characters/ more beast series

Would it be neat if some of characters who die come back to life in another beast series as protoforms? Why didn't Sunbow come up with the idea of the beast machines characters going back into the past to bring back Primal but go back too far.They go back to cybertron before the thief of golden discs.
