Absolutely awesome.

BTW, I really like the clean, detailed panel lining you got from the black wash. If only I could to get a similar effect for the DMK-OP I'm planning on building.

I use fresco Tempera paint, which is a water based paint for children I think. I mix varying amounts of dawn soap and water, and test it on a junk plastic model. I wipe the wash off with Q-tips once dry. I think I should have used more soap/water as I took off some thin areas of paint by rubbing too hard with the Q-tips (bad photos help hide this).
