I can get Gundams in some local shops here, but the selection is quite limited and they cost more that way than they do when I order them from HLJ.
HLJ sells them at the Japanese Retail Price and have quite affordable shipping too.

Thanks for the praise. I keep hearing about styrene, but I haven't investigated the availability of it in Australia. I'm happy enough to use just the materials I have on hand, but I'll certainly keep it in mind for more complicated projects in the future.

How tall is he? The 1/144 scale gundams are quite small. He's about the same scale as Revoltech Megatron, just a little bit smaller than Movie Concept Bumblebee. He'll probably fit in well with the smaller scale Classics figures like Starscream and Hot Rod.
I'll post comparison pics once he's done.

He's kinda freakier looking with the red nails.

Going on you size estimations Spiritocat, he should be of comparable size to Titanium Scourge...

Well I've built his legs, so here's a photo for size comparison. Revoltech Megs is definitely the closest match.

You should recognise all the TFs here. I included the SD Destiny Gundam at too because he was so kind as to donate those hands.

He's not quite complete yet. I've still got to build his fist hands and his backpack, and do his panel lines.

I thought the Gundam would be larger. He does seem to fir with the TF revoltechs

Well he's been finished for a long time now, but I've only just got around to taking some final photos of him.

Now I can finally put him away in the display case and perhaps think about starting on my Jetfire project, or another SD Gundam.

Yeah, the alt mode is not great, but still, it's better than no alt mode at all, which is what most gundam kits and the revoltech figures have.

Wheel_Jack, it should be pretty cheap. I got mine from HLJ for 1500 yen but they're out of stock at the moment.
