I'm not gonna panic, Shaj. If I get one, I get one. Still not sure where I'm gonna go next with Transformers.

Right now I'm checking out some additional MCU ML 6" figures. I wouldn't mind Black Panther, A:IW Captain America, CA:CW Winter Soldier and Falcon. Those are my dudes. And Ant-Man. And Hawkeye. And Spidey of course.

I want to be into Marvel Legends... but they just don't scratch the itch for me. Also it doesn't help that they are (IMO) wildly overpriced

They haven't actually "hit" Canada yet. It was one of those stores that gets them early and a little higher than retail price. I REALLY wish they had the Deluxe's though, I want me some Rippersnapper

All I've done with little dudes so far is turn them into vehicles. Hungur however...
That's a good figure. Bot mode is great, dragon thing is great (kinda wimpy front legs though), and damn that's a good torso. Everything pegs into everything! He is freakin solid! I just can't believe I have to wait another wave (or two?!) to complete him

You said it, Shaj -- why must they torture us? I want Abominus NAO.

I'd still like Piranacon and Monstructor -- but A-bom was my #1 most wanted combiner we were still missing from G1.

You know, I didn't realize it at the time but I think Abom might be my most favorite team too, and he has been sorely (but unknowingly) missed. It makes sense for me, as my scramble combiners were exactly that, a scramble of 8 randoms and a couple torso's, not even all Bots or Cons
But the dudes I had the most of from one team, were the Terracons. I had two-head, not Lazerbeak, and arms'n legs shark. Them plus Motormaster made up most of my Deceptibiner

Nice, Shaj! The G1 combiner teams I had completed were the Combaticons (missing accessories, including no head for Bruticus), Constructicons (broke Hook on day 1, iirc), the Aerial bots (missing accessories, so only a single fist and a foot-pad) and the Stunticons.

The Stunticons are my only G1 team that remains completely intact! As a result, I do have a special place in my heart for them....

Nowadays, I have CW Devastator, Menasor, and Victorion -- again, I can't wait to complete A-bom!

Where oh where have I been. Busy, but I lurk and keep an eye on things here.

I thought I was done with LTTP for now, after this:
I did a hard mode. Well, the only way you can hard mode LTTP. Keep the green tunic, don't collect heart pieces (unfortunately you HAVE to get the boss hearts in order to leave the dungeons), don't upgrade magic or sword (but Ganon can only be hurt with the golden sword), and lose your shield. I got there, with the Master Sword V1, but I had to upgrade at the end in order to beat it. And I finished with an embarrassing 7 deaths. And an even more embarrassing 2 deaths/quits on my 100% completion run. So I wanna redo both

I got some toys in the mail this week.



So, I've got Bee and Stinger open now. Bee is great, he shows that they learned alot from their MPM Bee and the '77 Camaro Bee sorely needed a new mold. On to Stinger...











This line, and particularly Stinger, have been judged rather harshly it seems. I think Stinger is pretty good. Some things are really neat, like the front wheels going into the chest and still being visible. He's also decently posable and has a great head sculpt.

Not so great, is his.. "gun"...? The roof of the car is stuck to one of his arms, which I guess can be considered a cannon/gun/whatever, but it's a bit of a stretch.

One of the reasons these have been panned is QC. For the record, so far I've nothing negative in that regard to report.

And now, on to March madness. Anyone remember when I said that there was a metric ton of TF's dropping at the end of March? It's officially all hit, been paid for, and shipping. In my history of TF collecting, I've never seen this amount of stuff released in one time. Not even half! I shudder to share this (though I'm leaving the prices out) but you'll all see them when they arrive so why not

Yeah I'm pretty jacked. Haven't had a haul like this in a while. What I'm most excited about it is MB Jetfire (never had him before), Warhammer Bee (skipped the TLK release hoping for better), Darth Tieformer, and Grandy. Maybe above all, God Fire Convoy... but I don't know if I'll open him as I've not been opening the new stuff lately with nowhere to display them.

Hay Bod, sorry I don't recall, but are you yay or nay on Bayformers?

It is a tad overwhelming

So I opened up the other two SS Deluxe's











This is actually my first movie Ratchet! It's a really great mold, only complaint being that he feels too small, his backpack needs ONE more fold, and I wish the saw spun. But he transforms really fun, and is really posable. Look at the one knee pose! All is forgiven.

Crowbar is hideously awesome! He's an improvement over the last monster SUV guy, and if they're your jam then you'll love him. Biggest flaw, the dreads in alt mode. They can be tucked away, but I chose not to because I don't want them permabent in a way I don't want.

All Deluxe's opened, final thoughts:
Even though I already said I liked Stinger, he is the weakest of the Wave 1. And I'm surprised how much I liked the two I opened today. I'm pumped for this line

STINGER IS THE WEAKEST?! He's the only one I want!!

I miss my Movie 2007 Premium voyager Ratchet. Totes regrets on the sale of that one.

Nice studio series!! I'm a bit on the fence about picking up Crowbar and Ratchet at the moment, but I'm glad you are liking Bee and Stinger, and all 4 really. You and usually have similar tastes when it comes to main line figures.

I'm looking forward to seeing your haul!

If you like the 4 deluxe, just wait till you get the bigger guys.

Don't let that be the only takeaway! I said he was still good, and I liked him. BUT. He is the weakest of the bunch

I am positively drooling over Starscream. Funds are rather tight after March madness, and I had to pass up some sure fire hunts. But the Voyagers have hit locally, and I'll get'em in the next week or two.

Hi Shaj -- I got nothing against Bayformers, but tend to only get one here & there. I really liked the recent Lockdown and RotF Bludgeon. Those Studio Series releases look excellent though, and I may get some from the line. I almost picked up Starscream....

I forgot I had also picked up Dragonstorm! Oh and Crosshairs. I would go for Cogman as well, but my stores never saw him.

I really liked the TLK Megz -- but he's one of those characters I prefer to look a certain way.
