Lately it has come to my attention that some of the newer members (and some old) are violating the sig size guideline rules as stated here.

If you see someone with a sig pix that is too large DO NOT Pm the person and ask them to resize it, PM me or another mod the persons profile and I will handle it.

This is a matter that I am working on right now and with your help I can speed through it much faster.

That's how you add one to a post. You need to use the 'profile' link under the banner up top to add a signiture.

Go to the profile screen via the link up top. Then click 'edit'. There'll be a space to edit your signiture in there. Then find the URL of the image you want, type it in with [img] before it, and [/img] after it.

You're leaving out the [img]~url~[/img] tags.

Barricade your sig looks great and you asked this question...

why does the sig size matter???

Not everyone is on DSL or cable internet connections and larger file size sigs can make dial up miserable with slow loading times and such.

5 different people posting in a topic who each have a 150kb signature = 5x150=750kb pictures to load.
5x50kb=250kb to load.
It's simple math

Though i'm still of opinion that people with dail up should just turn pictures off in their browser setting and don't whine about it. We are living in 2007 dangit. Stop holding the rest of the world back with your crappy connection
