Due out just in time for Botcon 2008, which Simon will be attending, Transformers Comic Series writer extraordinaire Simon Furmon has updated his blog with some teases regarding the soon to be release Spotlight: Grimlock. A small excerpt from the blog states as follows:

It had to happen, I suppose. Ever since his supporting role in Spotlight: Shockwave, it’s only ever been a matter of time before the Dinobot commander (an established favourite of mine) got his star turn. And what a turn it is! Not only is it something of a sequel to Spotlight: Shockwave, it’s also something of a prequel (not saying yet to what, but maybe I’ll get to spill the beans at Botcon), and it even ties into the ongoing Escalation/Devastation storyline, featuring, as it does, a certain Scorponok!

Spotlight: Grimlock is due out this wednesday in comic shops everywhere, so don't forget to snag a copy and bring it to Botcon, you just may get an autograph from the literary genius himself.

scorponock is not one of my favorites but it will be intersting to see what he does with him and who else may be in it to make an apperance in that issue with him

I agree, It had to happen eventually.
It will be interessting to see how it is a sequel and a prequel to Spotlight: Shockwave at the same time.

Only 2 more days until this spotlight comes out. I can hardly wait.
