So far good christmas!
So far its been a good christmas. Me and my wife just couldn't wait to open our gifts to eachother so we went ahead and did it today. I got her a pink Nintendo DS with Mario Kart, Mario 64 and Mario Party. She has me open my gifts and I get Masterpiece starscream, and a Nintendo DS too! lol

Re: So far good christmas!
I have to agree, I just got done wrapping a billion gifts for everyone. Tomorrow, since I have to work all day Christmas Eve, I'll drop them off at their respective house, but I'll be damed(more so) if I let anyone open anything before the holiday even if I'm not there to see them enjoy!
As for myself, well I live alone, and whatever I get, I don't open till that day. Hell just to be sure I get something good in quantity, anything I buy for me after Halloween, TFs, DVD, Game, or whatever, I pile and hide just to enjoy on the day that much more
You can be impatient, and open your goodies now, or you can strain and wait cause after all, the anticipation is most of the fun!

Re: So far good christmas!
Yeah, my family is going to have a good haul this year, my kids more than my wife & I. Here's a quick run-down:
Family present:
360 HD-DVD Drive w/Transformers HD-DVD
Me:
Guitar Hero 3
Ultimate Bumblebee
Halo 360 controller
My Wife:
new coat
Viva Pinata
X-plorer controller of her own
My daughter:
My Little Pony Celebration Castle
13 My Little Ponies (got them all in an Ebay auction)
Littlest pet shop toys
My son:
TF movie Bonecrusher
Pepsi Optimus Prime
G.I. Joe Sigma 6 Switchfire gun (I think that's what it's called)
Superman action figures
yeah....'tis the season for giving.....gave up a week of vacation to get the money together give my kids...well, my whole family, actually....a better-than-mediocre christmas. We've been kinda tight on finances ever since we had a wreck earlier this year & had to add car payments to an already tight budget, so I thought it might be a good idea to end the year on a high note keep everybody's spirits up untill we can get everything back to normal, whatever that is.

I tried to get my dad a DS this Christmas, but unfortunately I left it too late. Apparently, they've been harder to obtain than the Wii over here in Britain.

It's safe to assume that I'm just taking the piss.

Re: So far good christmas!
I got me and my girlfriend a new cell phone each and plan with AT&T, I have REALLY had to keep this a secret big time as all she's ever had is some crappy old pager that is about 15 years old and what's the point of those anymore when you have to get to a phone anyway so I got a Samsung Sync.
They are both charging up now and I will wrap them tomorrow night.
For over two weeks now I've had to tell her not to check the mail at all as they keep sending bills and paperwork etc etc and the worst of all so far is they called two days after I bought them and left a message on my home voice mail ...she heard the message!
I made up a story, a really good story but I just hope she bought it because I really want it to be a surprise for her.
I have two other things for her, a different present and a romantic dinner at her favorite local Italian restaurant ( NO it is not the Olive Garden )
If anyone is ever in the Seattle area there are at least two here and both are great as far as quality go but we prefer the atmosphere better at the Queen Anne location...

But how are my workmates suppose to see the look of excitement and happiness on my face if I open them at home and not at work?

Got a sweet new office chair.
I also got a Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6...or a Nerf Sniper Rifle if you want layman's terms. Although, technically, it wasn't a gift, because bought it with my own money.
Right now, though, there's six gifts under our tree for me right now. I can't touch them, but I can make good guesses based on size and shape.
There will be more gifts tonight at my Grandma's house.
EDIT: The "More gifts" thing I metioned in the above line.
$70
Scratch-off lottery tickets (A tradition in my mom's side of the family. I turned 18 this year so I saw it coming a mile away)
Two shirts ("Conch Republic," and a shirt from the bar "Irish Kevin's," in Key West, Florida, which I'll be wearing a lot)
Galactic Heroes Luke Skywalker (My niece is no good with gifts)

I got my present in October. It was a Wii and if I have to be the one to track it down at the store then I'll be damned if I'm waiting 2 months to play it.
