yup, I've been in enough teams that just go south, teamwork doesn't sem to be something some people understand.
On the otherhand, I;ve had some pretty amazing teams as well.

but at least I haven't been shot to death by my own team, wich has happened twice in L4D2, where as soon as we get out the door, two of my team started shooting away at me and my brother, and ignoring he zombies

I don't want to derail the thread, but my usual team tends to do this when we get beaten too many times, usually at the finale. But we only do it when the whole team consents. Of course, I never play with anyone I don't know or anyone who doesn't have the "Trust me, I know this guy, he's cool" guarantee.

I have many times lost in Team Deathmatch, beacuse some players just do generally suck. I have gotten scores like 17/4, while some on my team gets 3/11. That really pisses me off when people do such, as it pulls down a team. Heck, i even once got a score on 21/0, and we only won with 4 points. Why? Well, two of the three teammates i had got scores 5/13 and 4/17. The third one had gotten 10/6, and that was fine, too. But seriously, such noobs like those above are the reason i like regular Deathmatch more than Team Deathmatch.

- just sayin.

I had only been playing team deathmatch as the scout class, trying to get to level 25. I started off by just zipping about trying to take pot shots at the enemy. Generally that went poorly. Then I decided to pick one of the ground based team mates and shadow them to provide support and hopefully surprise anyone who picked on the player I was following. That seemed to work well. I would use cloak and the ability that extends cloak time. Try to sneak up on people, melee them a couple of times and then try to get a shot or two in to finish them off. Works 40% of the time, if it doesnt work then I will transform and zip away before they get my location.

Dont consider myself a top player but I can generally get at least 9 kills.

Providing Air Support is a good way to sneak down to a teammates prey, then do the final blow to get the points. Cloak and Mark Target can also be a good way to get safe kills. Though, my strategy is more offensive, as i don`t sneak up under Cloaking, or hide in the sky as a Jet. I just find me a quick prey, hurry to him, and kill him. Nothing real sneaking up.
