TF:DOTM and TF:WFC simularities

both games are made by highmoon studios. first game was wfc and activision saw how good that turned out so they asked highmoon studios to work on dotm. but my question is how will they compare to each other. from what i've saw sofar is that the gameplay is going to be the same. and they both have warpath
maybe escelation mode will be on dotm also? idk. what i do know is that dotm might be as good or mayb better than wfc, even under the condition of it being a movie game. i hope for brtter killstreak attacks this time

There is no Escalation in DoTM unfortunately, due to time budget restrictions, and no co-op campaign since the missions will be centered around and focus on one, singular character at a time. However, I have read several hands on reviews of multiplayer and most of them agree on the fact that the multiplayer is improved over WFC's. As for killstreaks, they're mostly the same from what I've seen. I just hope that they've ironed out the server issues for the most part, that was the only real killer for me.
Here's a video of some solid multiplayer footage:

It looks really good to me.

I just watched that and it looks alot like WFC; just on earth. Like they used the same HUD layout without the abilities at the top corners. The same text for kill bonuses. Four different classes still, just with different names for the classes. And OP said "three frags left" instead of "three kills left"

One thing worth noting is the fact that DoTM has an auto regenerating health system almost exactly like RoTF's. You simply have to go a few moments without taking damage and you'll start recharging.

That's pretty cool. It sucks looking for a cube to find out it's not at it's spot or to watch someone swipe it while you're going right at it

Yeah, it got pretty cumbersome during tight situations going out of your way for an Energon cube, and somewhat broke the pace of the battle. RoTF's health system (and now DoTM's as well) was much more fluid and seamless.

If multiplayer turns out to be more epic than WFC, DoTM will be in my library. But then imagine how WFC2 would be like. I also noticed how they have 2 vehicle weapons. Will their vehicle abilties still be there? Hopefully. They were mighty usefull.
