Seriously. It's epic. And after spending entirely too much time (but really not enough) on the Great Plateau I have moved in to the second area on the way to Kakariko Village. All the way across the region.

And then the Blood Moon happened?!

Sigma, I hope you get to check it out! I have a friend that picked BotW up with their Switch, he's playing at a much faster pace.

If I didn't have to wake up so dang early (what I consider early) I'd play longer than 130am EST. Unfortunately, work gets in the way of sleeping in!

I seriously lose myself in the game though. Time just flies! Looks like I've played from 9pm-1am Fri/Sat, 1pm-330pm Sat, 11pm-2am Sat/Sun, 9pm-930pm Sun, 10pm-1am Sun/Mon.

The one area of nerdsphere I never inhabited was gaming.

I'm a book person, and a writing, comics, films, even LARPing, board games, card games. Never video games.
I played a couple, sure, mostly Age of Empires and Warcraft/Starscraft, and some Star Wars stuff (KOTOR, XWing vs Tie Fighter) but nah, not my thing.. :-?
