The Official Transformers: Animated Discussion Thread!
Re: The Official Transformers: Animated Discussion Thread!
I would like to point out how Jetfire is probly the first Transformer on this series who doesn't look anything like any of his previous incarnations. This series has been filled with homages to the characters name sakes untill now. And even his twin is a homeage to BM Jetstorm so I'm not sure why Jetfire isn't a homage to G1 Jetfire, or the Jetfires of the Unicron Trilligy. At best he looks like Scattershot from Transformers Cybertron and I don't know why they'd model Jetfire after a completly different character.
On a side note I seen their toys recently and passed them up. I really don't like that mold at all! And their characterizations on the show are... horrifing... they make me think the only reason they're in the elite guard is because they can fly other than that they seem to be completly incompitant and highly annoying.
I liked all the past Jetfires, even Armada who was stupidly named as he wasn't even a jet. And I liked Jetstorm better when he was a Vehicon. Hell even the Mini-con version was a better Jetstorm. He's a nice homeage though. Allthough BM Jetstorm was a homage to G1 Cyclonus in some ways and this guy isn't.

If you haven't seen it already, just wait until "Five Servos of Doom." The twins acquit themselves fairly well, at least in abilities.

Shadowman wrote:Thirteen episodes is plenty of time for them to show up again, especially since we only know the plot to four episodes.
Also, how did they spend time and money, when all of those characters were mild redesigns of older characters.
As for time constraints: Look at, say, Heavy Metal War in G1; in that one episode, they had 37 characters, not including the humans. They can fit a few new characters into 13 episodes, especially if they introduce two or three at a time.
I have allready seen "TransWarped"1,2,3-.”Three´s A Crowd”-"Where is Thy Sting?" and also "Five Servos of Doom" that´s not 4 episodes, it´s 6 of 13 (if the 3 "TransWarped episodes not count as one episode). Maybe they show several of them in one episode at the time like"Heavy Metal" but how much would they speak and do stuff if it´s to many characters to show at one single time?all of them can´t steal the show if you know what i mean.
I will wait and see. It´s just soo annoying that season 3 is not like season 1 and 2. In season 1 and 2, when they show us "new characters", they show constractiocons in a entire episode. And also the next time the constracticons was back-the WHOLE episode was tell their story. When the decepticons and wreck gar(Garbage in, Garbage out) has their debute-they show the new characters in a whole episode-or in several upcoming episodes. Also Blackarachnia has her own episode (Along Came a Spider).
Why is season 3 not show the new characters in a WHOLE episode instead too show the old ones that wee allready have seen. I am not surprise if they show the dinobots one more time instead of show perceptor, wheeljack, or Rodimus team! No I want some real episodes, like season 1 and 2, there they use the whole character and show the characters personality, and show both robotmode and vehiclemode.I mean- Who can say hotshot is a sportscar? In the Unicrontrilogy we know that BECAUSE they show us in some episodes. Now we can only assume he is a sportscar, because we have only see him in robotmode! But the time will tell ofcourse.....

Re: The Official Transformers: Animated Discussion Thread!
Did I miss an episode or 2? I know Transwarped aired as "Part 1" but as far as I can tell it was only 1 part. There was no to be continued at the end and the next episode after it was Three's a Crowd. I'm not sure why it had part 1 in the title if it wasn't a multi parter. I actully only noticed it after watching for the second time when I got bored one day and there was nothing else to watch I started rewatching my DVRed season 3 episodes.
If there's actully a Transwarped part 2 I'd like to know why my DVR skiped it and didn't record another episode till Three's a Crowd came on.
About the characters though. We saw Megatron, Starscream, Blitzwing, Lugnut, and Blackarachnia all in the first episode where they all did verry little. Starscream had the most screen time and most of that he spent getting blown up and or seeming that way without any evidence of what actully happened to him all thoughs times. Thoughs other characters only later in the series got their own episodes to develop them. Even the Autobots getting introduced in the first episode didn't have alot of development. It was mostly focused on Optimus Prime and Ratchet and then latter on Bumblebee and Sari.
Blackout we know is getting his own episode allthough I'm not sure how he got seperated from the rest of Strika's team and he's an idiot. An idiot who looks alot like an over simplified version of Movie Blackout and even has the same ability minus the Scorpinok.
I wonder though, isn't Blackout just useing an EMP generator? Does that mean him and Ratchet are going to be shooting EMPs at eachother?

That's what they're doing. Part one aired Friday 6 am on CN, part two aired this morning, and part three will air tomorrow. (The cut between 2 and 3 is right after Sari stabs Bbee.) After that, for some reason they're starting with season one again.

"Transwarped" first aired in the U.S. as a 1 hour 30 Minutes movie. All its reruns are split into three episodes, which count as part of the 13 episodes for this season (unlike "Transform and Roll Out", which, when added to the first season, made 16 episodes).Saber Prime wrote:Did I miss an episode or 2? As for "Downtown Blackout", there still hasn't been any official confirmation on whether that episode is real or not. So, we don't know if it's really and episode or not.

Five Servos of Doom just seems to be one giant plot hole.
They mention the armor being from Fist Full of Energon but the helmet was part of that armor. So why didn't Prowl recognize the helmet the first time he saw it AND WAS WEARING IT! And he knew Lockdown had the helmet from the first time so why did it take so long to figure out Lockdown made the attack on Yokatron?
It seems like the entire flash back plot in 5 Servos of Doom should of allready happened in Fist Full of Energon or just not been included at all. Everything around that helmet was just one giant plot hole.

BTW, it's "Yoketron". I know you're not that good a speller, SP, but you tend to get names spelled right.

I was just wondering about something so I thought I would like to mention it so I hope i dont sound stupid for talking about it.
I was wondering has Megatron and Sari ever had a direct confrontation during any of Animated.
I was thinking and remembering and to as far as my knowledge is concern they havent been in close contact with each other.
Megatron has always been with Dr. Sumdac and was interested in him cause of his Robotic Eginnering and able to reverse Egineering.
So I am wondering what will happen if or when eventually Megatron and Sari will eventually meet. I am wondering of the ramifactions it will have and how it will effect Sari.
We know it is going to happen eventually is it going to be a father/daughter moment will Sari snap and go out of control again or will she turn on the Autobots once she releazizes what her true origins really are.
Megatron is important part of Sari's origins but it unkown for what purpose or why.
I doubt that she is his Daughter or some offspring deal like that.
I think Megatron may have created some sort of Super Weapon a Doomsday Device to be used against the Autobots.
This is my theory but I say Sari will be something more important than that and I hope she will return soon so more will be revealed on her Origins and possible connections to Megatron.

Sari and Megatron shared a scene in episode 28 "A Bridge Too Close"... It was when Megatron had Sumdac in his cockpit and then transformed and Sumdac was strapped to Megatron's chest. Though they didn't speak to each other.

You mean Megatron Rising not a Brige to Close.
Megatron Rising was that episode you were describing.
I remember it now that was when Megatron used the Allspark Key to make himself a newer body bye using the one that Sumdac was trying to make for him.
He then transformed to his complete form and trapped Sumdac within his chest cavity or Spark Chamber.
This is were Starscream was trying to track down the Signal from which Lugnut was recieving from Megatron's head.
A Bridge Too Close it were it was reveled about Sari's Robotic circuitry and the revelations of Omega Supreme and the Supposed destruction of the All Spark. But the Allspark didnt get destroyed rather it dispersed or shattered into a million or so allspark fragments around the Globe or who knows were.
Thus creating Dirt Boss and the other Conconstructicons they merged with a Vechicle and other parts and thus the Constucticons were made thanks to the allsparks Power.
Dirtboss was mad from a Headmaster and a Fork Lift and I think that the Head Master Unit contributes large part to his personality the way that he Bossy and Tough.
So the episode you were describing was " Megatron Rising"
not a "A Bridge Too Close"
But I wonder why Sari & Megatron never talked to one another are they saving that for a moment in season 3.
They been around each other but never a confrontational meeting they just been in close contact with one another.
They never talked or anything like that and I am wondering if they are saving that moment for Season 3.

No.
He was referring to A Bridge Too Close Part 1 where Megatron is out to capture Bulkhead and has Sumdac inside him in helicopter mode and then strapped to his chest in robot mode. Sari was there with Bulkhead and Bumblebee.

Megatron has never put anybody in his spark chamber. The only thing he's put in there was the AllSpark sphere.Rodimus2006 wrote:He then transformed to his complete form and trapped Sumdac within his chest cavity or Spark Chamber.
Say, WHAT? You're mixing elements from both season 1's and 2's finales together in that paragragh.Rodimus2006 wrote:A Bridge Too Close it were it was reveled about Sari's Robotic circuitry and the revelations of Omega Supreme and the Supposed destruction of the All Spark. "Megaron Rising" had the "destruction"/dispersion of the AllSpark into a million pieces, and "A Bridge Too Close" had Omega Supreme and Sari's circuitry exposed.
