So another thread I stopped getting notifications on. Went back a oage;toy have been gotten, movies have been seen.

The Bee movie was good and fun and I hope they reboot the **** out of the franchise. But first do an all Cybertron movie ;)^

So, how is that Magic Square figure? I've been eyeing those toys.

And to help Burn, the SS Bee is nice and I like it a lot but I feel it will leave you wanting more. The transformation can be fiddly in the keeping it all lined up and pegged in.

Honestly, I'm a little underwhelmed. For the price, its not terrible, but it does feel very fragile. I'm a bigger fan of the Iron Factory 3rd Party legends.

Those IF figures are nice if not a little pricey. I am seriously considering their Soundwave. I've been very happy with the Mech Planet figures. I have that Newage Bee on the way. There are a ton of 3P legend class figures to choose from in that rabbit hole.

Yep! That dude is Ironwill. I haven't had a chance to play with either one yet. Ironwill seems straight forward enough, but Challengerlooks pretty, well, challenging.

Mail call yesterday:

Played with Prime a bit. Not a huge fan of truck mode, but the Transformation is kinda neat. Siege Prime is nice I guess, but I feel its way too little for a voyager price tag. I got it with discount codes and I still feel I overpaid. Since my kids have already lost interest in the siege figures I got the for Christmas, Starscream will be the last figure of this line I spend any money on, and only because I have a Starscream collection.

Ironhide is literally only out of the box. I have yet to anything with him other than glance at the instructions. He is actually quite a bit bigger than I was expecting, and has some heft to him. I'm pretty sure his arms and/or shoulders are not transformed or pegged in correctly, but I have not had enough coffee to start fiddling with him yet.

You know, overall, I kinda like the Siege line designs, but the figures all need to be just 5 to 10% bigger. Although getting the deluxes on HTS for only 10 bucks each was amazing and more in line with their size price wise.

That's MPM Ironhide right? Not my bag, but I'm kinda curious about that one.

I know I'm gushing about Prime there all over the place (I don't get out much) but my biggest nit pick is his axe. It's cool looking, the blades are cool, look good pegged on the back of the truck, but man it looks stupid as hell in his hands and doesn't work all that great as a shield either. I wish it didn't have that horizontal peg and he could hold it farther up the shaft (that's what she said). It'll end up in my weapons and accessories drawer.

It'll remind you a lot of the recent Wreck-Gar's axe. You may end up axing yourself, "why is this so awkward?"

Pretty much how I feel. Love Prime, dislike the axe. It always seems like long-handled weapons can only be held too high up (like CW Magnus) or too low (like this axe).

Added the USS Stargazer and USS Enterprise-D. Friday, the USS Enterprise-E arrives, this giving me all of Picard's commands.

And today, I found and bought Siege Soundwave.

Amazing figure, even with the shittastic battle damage. I can't recommend this guy enough.
