So I'm thinking of investing in NECA's new(ish) line of TMNT figures based on the original comics. However, having been a fan of the 80s/90s cartoon, I find it really jarring that all the turtles have red bandanas in this line instead of blue purple orange and red. I definately do want these figures though because they're by far the nicest and most collectible turtles figures I've ever seen,so I was considering buying the B&W variant instead. Now I'm not sure which I prefer the look of, and I was just wondering if anyone has any opinions on the different variants. You can see the colour figs here:http://www.oafe.net/poe/art/neca_tmnt16.jpg and the B&W here:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gb-JVVPbQkU/SFKP8FyhyRI/AAAAAAAACqw/tyfsYh7-mCc/s400/TMNTbwsetlarge.jpg
any thoughts aould be appreciated.

If you're a fan of the 80's/90's cartoon, would you really want these representations?
I personally prefer the original comic series to the later cartoon, and absolutely loved these figures - in particular the accurate colouring of their bandanas!
I recently sold my set, due to space issues, but I thought these figures are superb. Very posable and the four look great together. I don't rate the B+W editions myself, I think they just look silly; monochrome toys look terrible to me (such as those awful Sin City figures). But that's just my opinion, Sir!

TBH The more I look at them, the more the B&W ones just kinda look like they haven't been painted yet! And while I did grow up with the 80s version so it is more special to me, I've actually started preferring the comics recently (and the 80s toys are so ugly I think I'm happy just sticking to the cartoon for my fix of kiddy turtley humour). So currently the colour ones are winning the race. Added to which you can't get a B&W April so the set would just look weird.
Thanks for your thoughts!
