It looks like a mini alt sideswipe/sunstreaker/dead end with the way you have his legs and chest set up, which is awesome.
Does he still transform and everything? I wish my kitbash did, i was really pissed off when i found out it didnt. How did you keep everything moving around and clicking into the right places without breaking or snapping off?
Nice to see the movie figs finding a new lease on life. Im looking forward to seeing what you do with ironhide. You gonna add a rear section to the truck mode to make it look less like a pick up and more like a van like trail breaker was?

And you have peaked my interest with the preview pic with hoist in it...
thanks

hoist is next my friend.

since I'm fairly new to this process of creating a figure I don't know if what I'm doing is how you're supposed to do it. this was all trial and error, with a lot of error. but mainly I just kept transforming it. every time I changed or added something I transformed it back and forth. if it didn't work then I would cut that part out or sand it down, etc. I started over on a lot of sections. and scrapped ideas that I originally had that didn't work. mainly the back tires would never fit under the car like the original so I had to stick them out and to cover that section I used exhaust pipes that look cool in robot mode and the flying car mode. I wrote a song for you.
Sometimes when your Kitbash ideas have all been shattered
And there's nowhere to turn
You wonder how you keep bashing
Think of all the things that really mattered
And the chances you've earned
The repaint in your heart is growing
You can bash, if you try leaving the past behind
Heaven only knows what you might find
Dare - dare to believe you can make it transform
You hold the kitbash in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your kitbashes alive
It's time to make a bash
And you can paint, if you dare
Everybody's trying to break your kitbash
Keeping you down
Seems like it's been forever
But there's another post if you'll just read it
Saying it's the last screw..the last screw
Looks like it's now or never
Out of the darkness you stumble into a digibash
Fighting for the things you know are cool
Dare - dare to believe you can kitbash
The transforming power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all of your kitbashes alive
It's time to make a bash
And you can paint, if you dare
Dare - dare to believe you can make it transform
You hold the kitbash in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your kitbashes alive
The power is there in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all your love alive for your bash
Dare to be all you can be
Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive at Seibertron.com
And it's calling you on to victory
DARE, better believe you can kitbash
you hold the kitbash in your hands
DARE,
it doesn't rhyme very well. but the melody kicks ass.

Now this is something i cant wait to see. If it turns out well i might have to get you to make me some diagrams so i can make one for myself.
Dammit at this rate im never gonna own a movie ironhide, my current one im customising to sell on ebay and if this all works out well my next one will be turned into trailbreaker!

you noticed? welp, there was no way I could fit the wheels under the car so they had to stick out. I needed the exhaust pipes to cover the gap. eh, it'll be in robot mode for the rest of it's life.
