Transforers: G1 Awakening..... NEED HELP!!!

I've reached episode 16: AUTOBOT'S ROLL OUT, and cannot get past it. I keep getting battered by Trypticon, and I can never defeat him without him deploying soundwave, and then having soundwave deploying the tapes, and they just batter me...
In short, it seems impossible. Anyone got any good tactics for this?

I've been stuck on Showdown mode "speed demons" for a while. Gonna take a good 30-35 min. focused try to get it right I think, and I always try when I'm too tired to plan a few turns ahead.

Take all 6 power stations. Upgrade the piss out of sideswipe and use range attacks on Trypticon. Work on Meggy with the other 3 and you will KERPWN that lvl! Since Sunstreaker is a weak poon i tend to transform him only to lead Megatron away.

that level is rediculous. i finally beat it and never wanna look at it again. now i mainly play the arena as cons. just because they own.
