Transformers | Aftermath what happens after Beast Machines

Hello Seibertronians, Maximals, Autobots, Deceticons, Predacons and whatever else you may be I'm starting this post to get some feed back and possible some ideas for a conceptual story of what happens after the reformting at the end of Beast Machines. Personally I preffered the Beast Wars story over Beast Machines but it wasn't bad either, though the toys from that series were deffinatly a step down from Beast Wars. I think most fans would agree that this was caused by the lame morphing looking transformations used in Beast Machines. That being said one of the things I wanted to have in this series was transformations more like those in Beast Wars where you could actually see the transformation not just a light show with shifting animation. Anyways I'm rambling here, http://www.wix.com/hitonoko777/transformersaftermath please check out the site, it has a synopsis of the story as well as the first chapter/episode written up. There is also a character page that has links to various character bios with transformations that will be appearing in the series. I'll keep posting more characters as I complete them, so far I've only completed most of the villians models so far I'll be moving on to the Maximals soon. Anyways leave me some feed back and thoughts here or comment on the character vids on youtube, with enough reaction and feedback maybe a new Beast Era series will rise!

I think you have a really interesting idea-I haven't checked out your webpage yet, but it sounds good. I don't remember too much about the latter half of Beast Machines- in fact I don't think our area even showed it! I liked Beast Wars much better any way- it had better character development. And as you pointed out-Beast Wars had better toys! :CON:

Well thank you Sailor Destron its nice to get some feedback on the idea, let me know what you thin if you check out the site. I've been trying to develope the characters in a way that will transition easily to toys I like when the toy transformation is basically the same as the animated versions :)

Computer was down, so I would have looked at it yesterday. but...Ohhh.. Soo happy to see Waspy!! He's my favorite! ( and it looks like you began your story with him, too.. I'll print it out so I can read it) your charcter designs look very professional- hey are you planning on using only characters that were from the cartoon/comics community or add in characters that they just made toys of? The character I would have liked to seen was the battle unicorn- I like the mythological forms. :CON:

For now I've just been using characters from the G1 and Beast Era continuity, but the story takes place on Cybertron so there are countless possible characters that can appear throughout the story. The Vok Emmissaries as I've called them all had to be characters from the original series's since I wanted them to all be characters who were recognize as having a powerful or unique spark. I'll explain that more as I continue the story. I like mythological forms too thats why I made Starscream into a Phoenix in this story which is also representative of his undying spark. By the way did you see the animated versions? the links on the images should take you to animated versions on youtube.

I just viewed the animated models and it.. was.. AWSOME! Good job, but the words on the side of the animations are hard to read- they're too dark of colour or something. I liked the Starscream and Waspinator the best.

Your story was decent too. I'll be watching to see where you take your story from here!

Thanks, and yeah I know the youtube window size and compression makes it harder to read the writting it's easy to read on the 720 Hd mode but takes longer to load. The story is only in its developing stages I'll keep up dating it slowly but what I really wanna do is make a pilot episode to present to hasbro or takara and see what they think.

I think this story would make an excellent graphic novel or manga. :D :CON:

The Aftermath project shows awesome creative talent and initiative. The character design and correlation with the seven deadly sins is solid. (Will others adopt the seven cardinal virtues?) The script for the first episode is a good start.

Some constructive criticism:
The script needs an edit to catch really basic grammatical errors.
Waspinator's "voice" in the first part is quite good, why change it so drastically when he upgrades to "Wrath?"
Although as humans, we see the Vok as "skull-faced," such a comparison might not be natural to a Transformer. "Tooth-faced" or such might make more sense.

I have not viewed anything on You-tube, although I might when I'm at home.

I think that this is an excellent resume-builder for you as a creative talent. Although it might never be produced professionally (the big players tend to only use intellectual property they have developed or solicited) it could catapult you to the next level.
