I read the first paragraph, which was enough to get the gist. Unless there was a plot twist in there somewhere, in which case you're not following through with your thesis, which would be pretty crap writing for nonfiction.

I'll have to take this sage advice across the internet- if you make any effort at all to explain things in detail, you're writing a "sob story" and nobody's gonna read it.

And yet, you're still writing these loooong posts, that I'm still not reading past the first few lines.

To keep things on track, I'm really, really looking forward the first episode of the show.

But one thing annoy me in that preview (appart the classic inconsistencies) is that Paramount + watermark.
This means it will be a Paramount + exclusive?

Jesus, why should I need to be subscribed to 10 different streaming services to watch my shows? Steam practically ended video games piracy with the convenience of that platform yet streaming services still haven't got the memo. Some even require a classic cable subscription to even work. Like, what the hell?

No wonder Torrenting movies and TV is still going strong.

While there is always a way. The problem for me is that I've got an extremely bad memory. Whenever they use the nebulous "coming this fall" which is meaningless as to an actual date. Within a month or two, I'd have completely forgotten it was on, let alone what platform it was being shown on.

Why does Optimus look like his chin is the same size as TFA Sentinel Prime with that mask on? That's disturbing. The whole alien encounter angle is played out in Transformers...that's pretty much what it's ALWAYS been about (literally EVERY series has been about this) so that doesn't make me that excited. I'll have to give it time, I suppose, but I'm not hopeful.

And thanks Ryan. I was attempting to try to reign things in by crossing some humor with an adult lecture. Apologize that it came off harsh. I guess body language and facial expressions really DON'T cross the internet. I'd do admin in a heartbeat if I had the time, but with the current shortage of healthcare providers I'm overloaded and seeing a ton of patients a day. The Transformers are (often) Giant Alien Robots. It is what they are.

The G1 cartoon's war ended with Optimus and Galvatron both still alive. Beast Wars's Optimus and Megatron lived to the end of that show's conflict (Beast Machines was a different show with a different war). RiD'01 ended with both its Optimus and Megatron alive. The Aligned versions of Optimus and Megatron are both still alive by the end of RID'15. And Cyberverse's war ended in the Season 3 opener with its Optimus and Megatron both still alive (its Megatron only died long after the war ended).

Nope. The only thing skewered by a sword in that fight was Galvatron's own sword, cut in half by the Matrix Blade.

It wasn't so bad when Netflix first started as that had a good range of shows, but with its popularity came the greedy eyes of the other broadcasters who have inadvertently created the old set up almost of paying a lot of money out if what you want is spread out amongst the services. Of course this only applies if you watch the legal way

Technically, no they didn't if you count the end of the war as following TF: The Movie. Though Prime returned, Megs never did.
