Funny how the front page story doesn't mention the Transmissions podcast reported this rumor in August! No one seems to be acknoledging these rumors are true and this means most of the OTHER rumors are reliable!

Aren't those the rumours that got posted around here a few months ago?

Why would it mention rumours when we have a picture instead? The rumours were already covered previously in this very thread. You are free to give it a read, it is all right there. The thread itself is called Titan Wars News and Rumours.

Yes, I did. There are sites who told me they refuse to post the image of Blurr. Even this site seemed to forget to mention that the Transmissions podcast rumors predicted this on their front page.

I dont understand:

1. If you saw the front page and saw that we newsed the image then what was the point in you reporting it... again?

2. Why is there a need to write about rumours when we have a picture?

I heard a rumour that they are working on a titan predaking and he will be released within the next 5 years. Will they quote me when we finally have an image?

And plus, we tried reporting their rumours initially but transmissions didnt like it, so we stick to the rules of journalism and report the evidence. Right now, all we have is a pic and we newsed it. Is it their picture? If it is their picture, please let us know and we will credit them. If you have other pics and evidence for upcoming products that we havent reported yet, please feel free to send them to us. We will even give you some credit. If tranmissions releases photos of what they are talking about, please send them our way and we will news it too, and give the appropriate credit.
The rumours themselves have all been reported here anyways and you are free to read them in this thread.

The picture is not their picture, it's one I posted online that was given to me anonymously from someone on Weibo. I merely suggested someone should mention it confirms one of the Transmissions podcast rumors. Their rumor source has been dead on more for more than 10 figures now, so it's pretty accurate.

Not that much news again this week. I did get personal confirmation that Titans Return Alpha Trion is a Headmaster and a Voyager triple changer. His alternate modes are space ship and lion.

Now since every figure we have seen so far seems to be made with an intentional repaint or remold, I was trying to figure out who else might be a robot/spaceship/lion. The only guy I could come up with might be Victory Leo, who had a rarely used jet mode in the Victory series.

That alpha trion sounds pretty cool as long as the lion mode comes out okay. As for its repaint what about a new lio prime?

At least he was better than Zeta prime which is someone I would love to see get a toy version.

I'm not following the comics and the ones I've read didn't mention him. Has he gone the DotM route in there too?

Also, I'm trying to get the most classic characters in my collection and well... Astrotrain.

I have about ten Cons less than Bots. They got Superion and Defensor, but the cons have FoC Bruticus and Devastator, which by himself could potentially stomp those 10 extra bots. But still, I want to be fair to both sides.

Sentinel was a good guy but he was very authoritian and the ends justified the means for him...come to think of it, Megatron Origins showed Prowl working under him...and he's definitely blurring the lines of good and evil.

Alpha Trion is a character that I see a lot of people wanting to have his own mold and add him to their collection. I personally don't have such attachment to him, but maybe it's from not growing up with G1, but this Lion altmode you speak of makes me interested indeed.

Alpha Trion being a lion is interesting since it's one of the things 3H, the former BotCon licensee that preceded Fun Pub, wanted to do with the character but never got to. There were plans to make a OTFCC (what BotCon was called during 2003-2004) toy of Alpha Trion from either the Beast Machines Snarl toy or the Beast Wars II Lio Convoy toy, but neither came to fruition.

The closest we ever got to it being realized were 1) a hand-painted prototype of the Snarl mold in Alpha Trion's colors:

And 3) The BotCon 2014 Alpha Trizer (redeco of Prime Thundertron) toy, who serves as a homage to the original "Alpha Lion" idea, but is instead actually an aged Cheetor having taken the role that original Alpha Trion once held:




So if this TR lion Alpha Trion rumor does play out, then it would be the first time that the old 3H idea would not only get finally realized but done so via a mass retail release of a brand new mold from Hasbro itself, rather than as a convention-exclusive redeco of a preexisting mold like it was originally going to be.

This is basically Hasbro taking an idea for an unreleased BotCon toy from over a decade ago and deciding to do it themselves with the added bonus of giving it its own brand new mold. That... doesn't happen! But the fact that it IS happening (or at least is rumored to be happening) is what makes this so extraordinary.

This is like if Hasbro saw any of the following and decided, after all these years, to not only finally release them but to do so themselves and by them their own brand new molds instead of redecoing/remolding them from any preexisting molds, which is just plain unheard of before now.

I can't help but want an Alpha Trion triple changer, or a Lio Prime. Lio Prime is one of those characters that I don't know really much about, but I still find cool
