Glad I ordered him yesterday.

Anyway, at least one walmart in my area finally got deluxes wave 6, so I can cross Slugslinger off my site list. Still no sign of wave 5 deluxes anywhere near me. The last ones I have to see.

I have all of the Hasbro release TR complete. Now however are the TT. I'd like to get Greatshot and Grand Max. this may be possible depending on how well timed my tax return is. Another I'd like, Primitive Optimus though...I cant justify paying $100 for it. I'll just have to be patient. You never know if this is something that is going to decrease in price over time, or increase because of collectability. If it does increase, then I'll just say forget it. But if I can get one for around $50-60 shipped then I may go for it.

If you are on Facebook, go to the Seibertron.com Facebook page and Subscribe. Under the "Following" tab there will be a setting to get notifications for . It's worth noting that Kup as well as Hot Rod are part of the Wave 6 assortment with Slugslinger, and should be out at Walmart

Back to Ramhorn and Aldi, if you guys are having trouble locating him, here's what you need to look for:

: Ignore the guy in the back.

They were placed at the registers at my local one (impulse purchase approach), not at the regular toys and gifts section. Note how there are multiple cases, not just one per store.

I have only seen Slugslinger once at my local Walmart -- nothing since but TLK.

I'd still like a way to get Pounce outside of that boxset....I'll keep dreaming, and enjoy the Autobot clones I am fortunate to have.

Yeah, I really cannot wait to pair Ptero, Clobber, and Scorn up with the PotP Dinobots. It is going to be an awesome Dino-team!

I also got Ramhorn at aldis, so all the figures I did want from TR have been found and bought. I got really lucky with waves 4 and 5 with deluxes. I only saw both waves once, bought the ones I wanted then, and never saw them again save for the repackaged Kup with Slugslingers wave. The voyagers have actually been the easiest to find for me, which is strange. I saw every single TR and TLK voyager in stores, and voyagers usually came before the deluxes.

Once my 2nd Ramhorn and his wave come, I'm done. But it was a great ride.

Has anyone found a good body to put Ramhorn on? His colors don't really seem to go with anyone

Yes the one walmart I went to that had this assortment had plenty of all 3. Does anyone know however if other size classes are getting *repacks* for a 6th wave since none of the other size classes had new figures? I saw a couple of Sixshots that were new (All the previous Overlords were long gone...). Seems like Voyager Prime and Megs got re-releases as well, seeing lots of them lately. But most of the Targets still have the glut of that cursed repack wave 4. They are keeping all their Potp deluxes in the back, and as stock slowly drains they seem to be piecing them out individually. Of course First in first out doesn't apply here. Folks keep snatching up the PotP toys while the TR deluxes just shelfwarnm. and in all this wave 5 was lost somehow...

Hasbro planning: "Let's put a bunch of great figures in Deluxe wave 5 and only put one figure in all of wave 6 because no stores carry the last wave."

Reality: Most stores skip Deluxe wave 5 (and even wave 4), but stock plenty of wave 6.

By the by, I mentioned this in the acquisitions thread, but the Ramhorns at Aldi are all the darker variant. The lighter one seems to have been phased out.

Same number as my darker one, #C2391, though it's really hard to see with the red paint on brown? plastic. That makes it a true variant those are the product numbers, and they match.

I really should start a thread with those... Even figures that are completely the same, like TLK Legion Megatron and Autobots United Legion Megatron can have different numbers, did you know?

missed an opportunity to do right by Overlord here. Inserting the Prime Masters into the chest slots should cause the cannons on the left to extend out and the cannons on the right to pop up. Very disappointing.

That's so strange. You'd think where these are coming in solid cases all the cases would be the same, but apparently not? For comparison sake, mine is closer to the color of peanut butter than Nutella like the dark version if that helps.

(I happen to have a jar of each on my desk, don't ask.)

BTW, if anyone cares, the Trypticon I got off Amazon from Cyber Monday had a very high lot number that I haven't seen before. The chest door wasn't warped and snaps in nicely, the legs ratchet just fine, and it has the variant shoulder canon/tower design. On the negative side there's an issue with the right shoulder canon not just being a little loose, but also popping off completely when I turn it. The canons are held on by a split mushroom cap at the end of the plug that doesn't seem to open enough hold the gun in place. I'm a little cautious of forcing it to bend open so I suppose I'll just have to live with popping it back on as needed.

The darker variant may not be as dark as initial pictures show him to be.

A key difference I notice is the different location of the lot number: on the lighter variant it seems to be located on the side, opposite of the product code stamp (#C2391), while on the later one it's under the bar connecting the front legs.

Speaking of which, what are your lot numbers? Mine is 72001 on the figure, while the lighter variant seems to be 70***.
