"Master of the Djinni"
"DuckTales"
and "Jonny Quest"
(according to imbd)

which are all cartoons not live action( unless there was a live action My little Pony I never saw ). The only live action he did was before TF, so a connection could not have been possible yet.( I Think) Then He died in '86.

It's not a trick question and I never said that the show ws on the air anywhere near the G1 toon.

But it is a question that only a few would know the answer too so you can ether praise my knowledge or poke fun at my neardy-ness

It is a show he did before transformers were ever produced.
As a matter of fact the show my question is about was on the air about 20 years before Transformers were even thought of.

Since no one has come up with the answer I give it to you.

The live action TV show that Roger C. Carmel was in that had a connection to the transformers toyline was called "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

And the connection to the TF toyline was that the design for G1 Megatron was taken for the gun's used on the show "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

Megatron was specifically based on a special edition of the MC-12, called the "MC-13 Gun Robo — P38 U.N.C.L.E".

Just to let you know I'm not looking for color differences but design differences.

And I dont know the exact answer myself but I do know about 2.

Kind-of...I'm asking how many different desogn apperances did some of the have in robot mode???

I know that ometimes the characters looked different because of ether the animation team useing different colors and different artist.

But I also know that a few times that they used different design apperances for some of the robot characters.More spicifiicy they used their comic book apperances instead of their cartoon look.

I'm trying to find out just how many characters this was done with.

Like I said I know of two but I'm trying to find out if there were more.

I know one is Broadside. He used his comic/early prototype look in "Carnage in C-Minor", but all subsequent appearances(like two) he used his toy model.

Pretty much all the Headmasters/Targetmasters looked a little bit different in Takra's Headmasters than they did in Rebirth. Rebirth had some redesigned/simplified heads that were common in the comics, but Takara's Headmasters were almost always a slightly jazzed up version of the toy.

Getaway had a very weird and dumb head in the comics but his Masterforce counterpart looked just like the toy.

Am I anywhere near close to being right?

Like I said I dont have the right answer myself.But I was not looking to the Japanese shows for an answer.I just wanted to know how many times it happened in the G1 U.S. toon. [guess I should have said that ]

You did name one of the times that I know of...."Broadside" was one of the characters that they changed animation models on.

There is one other in the U.S. G1 toon that I know of......I'm not sure if anyone else know's so I wont say who yet but I also wanted to know how many others it was done too in the U.S. G1 toon.

That may have happened but it would have been a animation error and its not what I was looking for but thanks.

If they had ever used the Jetfire design for the characters then this might apply but the only time they used the Jetfire likeness was in the toy commercial.

Now this is along the lines of an answer to my question.It wasnt the one I was thinking about but if they did use a different character model's for Cyclonus, Rodimus and Kup in any episode og the G1 toon then it applys to my question.

The other one I was thinking about was Arcee.In one episode of "5 faces of darkness" and in the episode "Only human" they used the comic book character model for Arcee and not the design model used in the movie and the rest of season 3.

Well the only thing he said was...... he explained "who Unicron was" and then when the Guards came to get him he said "he was the last of his kind left" and then he told the Quintessons to "Spare him this Mockery of Justice". SO I dont know that any of those are Motto's. So ....no he didnt have a Motto.
