Set loosely in the G1 universe, this is an all new series is a marriage of Transformers Masterpiece-scaled toys and Lego. An unsuspecting lego figure named Spike Witwicky finds a mysterious alien object (The key to Vector Sigma). Thinking this would bring him fame and fortune, he quickly discovers that it brings him danger and excitement, as the Autobots and Decepticons reveal themselves in an race to recover the key for themselves.
