Elita-1 and Slag -

So, any guesses what we'll see from these two?
My opinion: Since it's unlikely Hasbro would have filed these without having plans for them, I figure Slag would possibly be for Robot Heroes, a Legends repaint, or 3" Titanium (I doubt he's that memorable a character, let alone a stand-alone one, to warrant a 6" Titanium; plus no official word yet on when or if Classics will pick up again after the movie). Elita-1 - I'd say Botcon/TFCC exclusive; they aim for the more obscure TF characters, mostly G1-related, and plus there's been more than a few she-bots in that crowd lately.

I have to assume that Slag, like Shockwave, is one of those names that they lost and now have re-aquired to have for awhile. There have been at least 2 releases recently, if not more, where the Slag name would have made sense, but they did not have it-- The Armada Walmart Exclusive Dinobot repaints, and of course, there is the recent release of Dinobot minicons, where instead of Knockdown, they could have called him Slag...so future plans for the dinobots (we know they have Swoop, Snarl, Grimlock, and Sludge--I think).
Perhaps all have will get the Titanium 6 inch war Within release??? Not likely, but one can dream.
Either could be for anything...HEROES, who knows???

Eh, possible. I'm only theorizing based on Hasbro's most recent history of re-using G1 names; they seem to have been keeping old names closer to the likenesses of the characters they originated with.

Ok, I anticipate a tounge lashing for saying this, but the only Dinobot figures I have are newer ones, like the Walmart repaints....I have never had a single G1 Dino. As much as I'd like to start collecting the Dinobots now, if we got a full set of War Within Titanium Dynobots, I think I'd be much happier. I love the designs of the WW Dynos.

First off, Elita-1 in any line would be awesome and long desired by myself.
As for Slag, I can only hope that this is pre-emptive to a reissue release of all the dinobots, another lil something I have been craving.
I just love displaying my loose G1s infront of the MISB reissues.
