Transformers, huh? I remember people haveing issues with He-man and Smurfs ,but I don't remember any stuff about Voltron. I can see the occult symbolism/demonicish stuff in them, but Voltron of those 3 had the "occult" stuff only on the side that was clearly evil and vile. He-man and Smurfs on the other hand sprinkled it throughout in a relatively minor way. To head off some comments the name of the wizard Gargamel's cat (familar) was Azrael (a demon name in medieval myths). There were other stuff ,I don't think they are a big deal ,but I can see what people were seeing. Transformers on the other hand ,until the movie, didn't touch on religion/magic/occult ect at all.

The thing you have to remember is that these guys actually believe what they are saying. They believe that Satan himself inspired the creators of both Voltron and The Transformers to craft intentionally subversive material designed to get children to worship Satan and later serve as soliders in his impending war with heaven.

They ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT. They are so far removed from reality that there is no longer any use trying to reason with them.

WTF?!

Did they really not have anything else to bitch about back in the 80s?

Claiming that Voltron and Transformers have occultic overtones?

Well, Christians like to bitch about everything. If it's not all about God then they try to find something wrong with it. Not all Christians are that way, but a few extremists happen to catch the public's eye every now and then.

And of course Voltron had occultic overtones! For goodness sake it had a witch, evil magic, drinking of blood, skulls everywhere, and the monsters frequently arrived in friggin' coffins!

I certainly don't think that means the show was bad for kids. All of those references were designed to show how bad the bad guys were by giving the occult a very negative image.

These idiots are totally irresponsible. I can't stand these worthless loosers inspiring fear in the less fortunate(under educated, less informed by means of cesoring vital information, and people who just don't read). I can't help but think this may also be inspired by money somehow. Both of those shows, Voltron being Japnaese anime translated into english story lines, and Transfomers being a joint effort of both the Japanese and American artists(by that i mean every story writer, animation artist, toy makers and so on), to persuade American(scared out of their mind) parents away from any thing but 100% U.S. created products. Everything is about the money here, it doesn't matter if you don't believe it, thats just the way it is, so any one else trying to make everything more equal gets the shaft. People like this should be very publicly mocked and made to feel worthless, because for humanity's sake, they are worthless.

I was raised in a Pentecostal Christian family, kinda weird and i've known pastors that think as radically as the guy on the video, in real life. I was forbidden to watch TV shows containing magic, and weirdest of all, that Voltron wasn't aired in my city, but instead the Voltron composed of 15 vehicles (Dairugger XV i think was its original name in Japan). My parents were okay with me watching TF and having TF toys (even the G1 Megatron, when we didn't had toy guns usually), but my mother always was eager to remind me that 'machines can't have a soul and can't feel and aren't alive'. I don't believe anymore in any religion, but from a merely christian standpoint, obviously nor Voltron nor Transformers are satanic. The penticle isn't either satanic, its association with satanism is very recent, it was a symbol that was chosen by Pythagoras because of its mathematical relationship with musical scales, he believed music and math were the ways God thought, and it hadn't any connotation of evil at all, until the works of recent occultists.
