My friend and I have been talking about a few of our favorite television shows lately. Mainly discussing who our favorite characters were. We ended up deciding that its easier to choose the character or actor that's our least favorite, which led to me realizing in almost every show I like, there is one character I absolutely cannot stand.
King of the Hill- This is the show that started our conversation. Peggy is easily the most annoying character on the show. Everyone else has hundreds of funny moments but she has a handful. She's a bitch and doesn't realize it. She's an absolute moron and thinks she's the smartest person on the planet. I know the last bit is supposed to be her shtick, but its more annoying then funny.
King of Queens- Kelly, if she doesn't ring a bell, she's Deacon's wife. Maybe its because the actress plays her like a stereotypical black woman, but I just cannot tolerate her. I don't think I've ever laughed at a thing she's done or said.
There's plenty more out there I could mention, but I figured why take all the fun. Who are the weak links on your favorite shows?

Heroes - Claire Bennett - I think her storylines are the dullest (and taking the series into a soap oper-direction), I'd rather watch the stories of Hiro, Stacy or Sylar.
Stargate Universe - Matthew Scott - the young military-type character in the show - considering that every Stargate had a similar (Kirk-type) character, his role got real old, real fast.

Gundam 00: Marina. Good God, I'm normally all for finding peace, but Marina takes it to idiotic levels. The kicker came when she refused to handle a gun to protect orphans she was taking care of. I mean, I don't think you really need a gun for self protection, but she was in the middle of a war, and marked for death, and the enemy proved that they have no problem killing civilians, even children.
While we're at it, Saji and Louise as well. They were fine as sideline characters, Louise was the bubbly spoiled rich girl and Saji was her perpetually timid boyfriend, but then they turned Louise into the world's leading exporter of angst and made all of Saji's actions into very bad ideas. Things started to turn around when Tieria Bright-slapped some sense into Saji, but the two didn't really get better until the end of the series.
