What Station Did Transformers G1 Air??
Ok I'm a HUGE TF fan and I should know this but I guess I was too young (5) to remember what TV channel that Transformers aired on?? And does anyone know what time during the 85/Season 2 run it aired?

Well, where I'm from—the Midwest—it aired on WGN (Chicago's very own Channel 9!) For some reason, I remember the first three episodes premiered as one show; in the evening no less. After that, it was on at about 4:30 pm CST right after GI Joe.

In NYC it ran on WPIX channel 11.
And they had a habit of changing the time slot every few months.
Most of season 1 and 2 ran between 3.30 and 4pm while season 3 was moved to a early morning time slot between 6.30 and 8am.

Although it was before my time, all that I've read about G1's original broadcast says that it all aired in syndication.
Though, I've also read that, in the 90's, the Sci-fi channel aired edited versions of the G1 episodes for a while.

I'm from Chicago as well and the Transformers aired on WGN (Channel 9) in the afternoons and on the Bozo Show in the mornings...

Re: What Station Did Transformers G1 Air??
I actually was a contestant on the Bozo show. I played a game where i had to toss a balloon to a girl scout, she hit it back with a whiffle bat, and I had to step on it and break it. We won. We got the game Payday and a pack of schneiders string cheese. I remember Frazier Thomas (the host of the Bozo show at the time) had his hands on my shoulders after the game, while Cookie told us what we won, and it was hurting my shoulders. lol
I remember when they did the recording for the intro to the transformers cartoon and I couldn't wait to see it. Well, needless to say, I was young, and didnt know that they did not show it at the actual taping. Doh.
Anyways, I still have it on tape, and love to watch it once in a while. It was a part of the episode where Sparkplug has the chip on his neck, and Spike goes to Cybertron to find him. Great memories.
