What was your highlight of 2009?

I just want to know what every one's favorite moment of 2009 was. It can be anything. For me, it was Transformers ROTF. 2009 was a suckish year for me, the only thing that I liked about 09 is when I went to the midnight premere of transformers ROTF. It was freking AWSUM! Its the first time I ever went to a midnight premere. We also brought my cousin with us. Greatest 2.5 hours of my life!
I Am.

Personal highlight of the year was becoming an uncle. All the joys of being a parent with none of the responsibility.

Taking my oldest daughter to Disney for her 16th birthday and watching her have the best birthday ever.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Getting into a dozen or so discussions on RotF before I even saw it, and not seeing anyone call me out on it...

Hopefully that its over.
2008, and 2009 were a very hard years for me.
Early 2008 my dog got sick and I had to make the decision to put her down.
Shortly there after Mom got sick and I took her to a battery of test and appointments before she was diagnosed with cancer September of 08, we spent the rest of that year attending rounds of chemo, which went into 2009.
Followed by daily radiation. I had to take a leave from my part time job of which they fired me for doing so. Mom had a stroke in July and could no longer live on her own. Her memory was shot and the cancer was worse.
In October she died, and then I spent the last few months of 2009 condensing her appartment into my PACKRAT and cellar.
And just for fun...2010 starts with the news that my full time job is closing and my 2nd cousin who just turned 18 OD'd.
So hopefully 2010 gets better.

Not much happens where I live, so there is really nothing to report. ROTF is my highlight too.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.
And for those of you who are wondering... I'M A GIRL!
