Which TF Models Can Be Viewed on that HD-DVD Special Feature?

Postby Skowl » Tue Oct 16, 2007 2:41 pm

So, the HD-DVD comae out today along with the regular DVD. For the time leading up to the DVD's release, I was hoping that they would include the 3D TF models as a special feature and let you zoom in and rotate them and appreciate all the detail.

Sadly, even though they DID make this feature, it's only avalaible on the HD-DVD version, so I can't see it. So, is there anyone out there with the HD-DVD who can let us know what this awesome feature is like? What Transformers can you look at? Maybe post some screenshots for all the poor souls who can't afford HD-DVD players...

Sadly it is not anything to be excited about. The feature has Prime, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Megs, Starscream, and Blackout.

You choose one then in a window below it gives you the option to choose head, torso, or base. Then in a window to the right of that it will show a blown up version of what area you selected and then start rotating 360 degrees. You have an option to rotate left or right. What sucks is it is at 1 speed and it's pretty quick. I can't find a way to slow it down to get a good look at parts.

Anyone have a clue.

To me it's a waste of a great feature.

It's not really anything special, which is a shame. I can't get it to slow down either. I think it was built in or something. I'll try later with an X-Box 360 controller but I don't think it'll make a difference.
