I'm not judging it as I haven't seen it, but I haven't liked 99% of what I've seen so far.
It's not because I don't wanna like it, but I'm a fan of the Robots in Disguise, technical designs that have been comon place requardless of medium in all series past.
This syle of art, although it's worked in other series past does not look right what-so-ever in Transformers, at least not to me.
I do not look forward to seeing a Transformer with rough black eyes a slumped back and red steam lines over it's head. Then seeing said knuckle dragging figure's feet fly in the air after a shock, then jump up in a giant smile with arms in a suigly wave in the air because it was cause it was actualy a happy suprize.

What I am happy about though is that this is my 4000
post, so to all my friends I've met here, I say, thanks and enjoy...

I'll go on the record and say I dont like what I've seen so far but I wait till I see it to really pass judgement.

But you can have an opinion on what you've seen so far.

My opinion: I'm not all that fond of the animation style either. But, since animation/SFX is probably lowest on my "care about" list, I'll still like it if the voice acting and writing is good. I *do* very much like what I've heard so far of the VA (not to mention the theme song), so the balance pivots on the writing... which I won't know about until I actually see a whole episode.
How's that for perfectly ambivalent?

DO NOT WANT.TF animated is like watching 2 trains about to crash into each other. You know the aftermath is gonna be horrible. The main worker/project guy insulting the fanbase doesn't help ether.

That is the question.
Wise words.
And I think it looks interesting. Different, yes. But different is good. What'd be the point if every Transformers continuity looked and felt exactly the same?

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

Just responding to the statement. He's right, I can't judge a show I haven't seen, but I can have an oppinion on what I've seen so far which isn't possitive or promissing.

Yes, we read the comic, we get the joke. The animation style looks stupid.
And?
Because it seems to me you're just bashing the look of the show without actually watching it. Is it even out yet?
What about voice acting?
What about writing?
What about characters?
Who cares what it looks like.
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!

The voice of reason strikes again.
I personally think this series looks fine. The closest to G1 for a while actually. Traformations that look impossible, weirdo weapons that magically are there, classic characters, hell, it's like G1 junior.

Quite so.
And the animation looks fine, really, compared to other cartoons of the same type, geared towards the same audience. It looks exactly how I'd expect it, really. Okay, Optimus looks a little weird to me, but this is supposed to be a younger Optimus than we've seen before. Starscream has a funny chin, but... okay, I got nothing there. But Megatron and Bumblebee look great.

I care what it looks like but I'm still willing to give it a chance.
I hated the look of both Teen Titans and the new Batman show but I have enjoyed both.
I also liked the look of Cybertron but hated the show.
