I can understand when someone who is dying of Cancer or has serious Alziehmers or something, but mental illness? Good primus! What next, a bullied teenager? People with mental illness can get better!

Seems death is just a cheaper alternative to good care. Pisses me off quite frankly. Not to mention, the majority of really sick mentally ill people express sucidial thoughts, most don't act on them.

In some cases of mental illness wouldnt it call into question your ability to make such decisions?
Nothing stopping people killing themselves now. Yes its illegal but what does that matter if your dead? Your not gonna get your life insurance but hey what do you expect.

That is stupid-offering assisted suicide to depressed people is a dreadful idea, possible the worst idea since Mr. and Mrs. Hitler, said "Hay lets have a baby and call him Adolf!"

Sick people need help not being put out of our missery, assisted suicide would increase suicide rates collosially-the damage this would do to surviving family members and society would be apocolyptic!

Er, I'm not so sure there's that many people who want nothing else but to die...
