Why some of the newer PRIME toys does not come with a TRALLER
I understand that the Movie Prime does not have a traller but why both the big and small CLASSIC PRIMES HAVE NO TRALLER?
hasbro made him a simple over priced figure. Hasbro could at lest made him more like powermaster prime instead with cab and traller combining together.

The smaller Prime (Voyager/Robovision) should have a transformation closer to the bigger version. I'm not impressed with this Prime with backpack thing.

As for my opinion, I am in agreement that it would have been nice if Hasbro would have released Classics Prime with a trailer. I would have gladly paid the price of a leader class figure (truck and trailer packaged together though) if it had all the features of G1 Prime (such as Roller).
A Powermaster Prime would have been....interesting. I could see them working more articulation into the original design, however, it would not make much sense to release this figure together with the original Classic Prime figure.

He's actually talking about Classics Prime, and Classics 2 pack Prime, not the Movie Leader and Voyager figures.

Being polite will earn you more replies. Just a little FYI for the future.
The trailer isn't really necessary. After Energon (I'd hardly call that version a trailer, it works for the figure though.) it was realized that the trailer wasn't really a needed component for the figure.
Besides, with the original, how many of us tinkered with the cab part more and put the trailer off to the side after a while?
PowerMaster Optimus Prime was quite a bit different. The trailer fully integrated itself into the cab.
Cybertron Optimus Prime technically didn't have a trailer, since he was a fire truck, but the rear module did become a battle cannon (of sorts), and then a power up attachment that integrated itself into the figure.
Classics Optimus Prime was one of the better figures in the line and while a trailer would've been nice for nostalgia's sake, it wasn't necessary.
Movie Leader Class (and Voyager) Optimus Prime was written in without one, doesn't need one, and kicks all the ass without needing a trailer.
However, Hasbro's not entirely heartless. They did leave a hitch of sort so that if you'd like to add a trailer, you'd be able to with a little bit of work.
I will say this...since the Autobots were clearly left without a home, or a base...Optimus could be given a trailer in the next movie that he could cobble together to create a shoddy (all things considered), yet functional command center of sorts.
It's really sad in a way, but actually fits his character...Prime's the only one left out in the cold. Most heroes are.
Ironhide: Wasn't confirmed, but I don't see why he wouldn't stay with Captain Lennox.
Bumblebee: Does have a home with Sam, he specifically asked to stay with him.
Ratchet: Can go back to the fire department he crashed into, or travel from department to department with no one the wiser.
But Prime...he basically (apparently) drives around aimlessly, watching over the people, ready to strike if needed. At least a command center trailer would give him a reason to pull over and have a shelter of sorts.
I understand why they did it, but Prime got the short end of the stick here.

Given that we are talking about the trailer for Classics Prime, and not a "TRALLOR:"
With the Classics line, really who cares about a trailer. The bot mode blew away the alt. Trailer = pointless imo. for that particular release.
Not to mention, Classics Primes were shelfwarmers. They were the only 2 figures left from the Classics in Walmart and Target around here as of last weekend. Marked down to half price, he still isbn't selling. A trailer would have made him even more pricey and more of a shelf warmer.
Besides, the G1 trailer should fit him just fine anyway.

Classic Prime is really too small. The truck mode is very small in scale compared to Rodimus, especially compared to Bumblebee.
How about a Leader class Classic Prime?
They can then add the trailer to the Leader class, making him one gigantic, awesome, must-have Prime.
Of course, in the correct scale approximately to Rodimus and Bumblebee.
How about it guys? Vote for Classic Leader Prime with trailer?

A. Archer was quoted at BotCon on this issue. He said, "We were going to give Classics Prime a trailer, until we found out ChromedomeMK2 touches himself at night. We just...couldn't go through with it after that..."
So, it's actually your fault.
(Seriously though...They said it just doesn't 'cost-out' anymore. With the increase in plastic production costs, the trailer can be let go with the least amount of decrease in interest.)

I'm thinking of something more in the line of Classic Leader with the truck mode design of Classic Voyager, with improvements, of course, more realistic details. Minus the truck shell on the arm, and realistically designed headlights. They can redesign the shell to go somewhere else, or to drop it outright from the design. Possibly more points of articulation, plus individually movable fingers, and the familiar G1 blaster gun.

Right, doesn't MP Prime already cover that ground? i.e. what would be the point?
