This review will be much shorter than my usual reviews, As there's not much that I can say about G1 Blaster that hasn't already been said in the last 35 years. Additionally, The review will not be judging the G1 Blaster mold himself, But rather this reissue of it.
With that out of the way, Onto the photos!

With the rest of the Walmart G1 reissues (minus Minibots and cassettes; There was no more room in frame)
I quite like that the manuals are now almost exact replicas of the originals, But for the fact that the originals used actual photos of the figure throughout the transformation, Whereas the reissue uses the modern line art style of instructions.

With G1 Grand Slam in the tape deck (ignore the missing faction symbol on him, It fell off)
With the Walmart reissue G1 Soundwave,
And lastly, With an original G1 Blaster. (Original on left)
Original on right,
My only complaint is the greys on the original have been made into some sort of a bronze-ish color on the reissue, Like the old 2010 Hasbro Toy Shop / SDCC and Platinum Edition reissues.
Reissue on left,

So all in all, It's a pretty good reissue.
If you've never experienced the G1 Blaster mold,
This one with brand new replica packaging, In pristine condition, Including everything the original came with,
Is probably the best way to do it.
As far as other reissues go, The only one that doesn't have the weird gold-ish legs is the old 'The Transformers Collection' one that Takara put out in 2006, Who also came with Steeljaw.
Speaking of which, This Blaster comes with no cassettes, But the original didn't either, So I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure they'll release them individually on card back like they did the Minibots and other cassettes anyway.
I think they've really been hitting these reissues out of the park (Except for Optimus, No trailer. Very bad.
I had a G1 trailer anyway, But it doesn't look as good in the box without it, Being it's a replica of the original, And obviously the original came with a trailer).
Speaking of which, Out of all the figures I collect (and they are many) these are the only ones I display on the shelf in the box. That should really say something. Oh, I open them first, Obviously, If I didn't that would be sad.
But afterwards they go on the shelf and they look fantastic.
By the way, The stickers were all already pre-applied, Unlike the other Walmart G1 reissues, So if you're a perfectionist for straight stickers, Your mileage may vary with these.
Anyway I'm pretty happy with it. I'd have preferred the greys to be grey like the original for authenticity's sake, But it's not too bad.
9.0 out of 10.

I've been contemplating getting this, because I don't see a MP Blaster coming anytime soon, and this figure seems like it's in scale with MP Soundwave. You wouldn't happen to have MP SW for some comparison shots, would you?

Ask and you shall receive!
Here you go.
IMO they scale perfectly.
Hope these worked for you, Let me know if you need any more.

They did work very well, thank you. I was mainly interested how they stacked up in robot mode. They do scale perfectly, but Blaster still looks simple compared to Soundwave. I'm trying to convince myself to get him, but it's tough. I've been holding out for MP Blaster ever since MP Soundwave came out years ago.

I know what you mean. Just last night a friend and I were talking about that.
I personally have no problem with Takara redoing previous MPs in more cartoon accurate designs, I mean, They don't appeal to me (on a good day the G1 cartoon was inconsistent with designs; A bad day, Laughably so) But I know some who like them, So I'm glad it's filling some holes in their collections.
But what my friend asked me (and he had a point), Is where does it end? I look over at my MP shelf, How long until they do another Tracks? Soundwave? Shockwave? Where would it end? Meanwhile, The 84' 85' and 86' cast still aren't complete (and at this rate, May not be in our lifetime), And there are arguably more deserving characters (Blaster included) who've not even been done once yet, Much less twice. (Or Thrice!)
Eh, But here's another Starscream..

Sorry for the ranting wall of text, I can get carried away.

No, no, it's understandable and I agree completely. MP-11 was perfectly fine, we didn't need yet another Screamer. MP-44 I can kinda understand, because Prime is the cash cow of the franchise, and I never thought MP-10 was as good as most others did. But you're right, all prominent characters should get a representation in the MP line before they start doing repeats. As for Blaster, at this point I might even take a red-yellow-and-gray redeco of Soundwave.
