Re: WTC Conquest Mode
capturing nodes gives you 2 points I believe on the scoreboard. a kill nets you 1 point. kills in the radius may give you more than 1 point but I'm not sure cause I've fought around a point early before a captured it but maybe got 1 kill and looked at the board and had like 5 points. I like the scout. if someone is taking a node, cloak, couple of scatter gun shots and a melee later and they are gone. Also some of the nodes have crates nearby that you can cloak and get on top of or behind and still be capturing the node. If someone comes up it's funny to see them looking around for you right before they take a blast in the face.
Any class can do well though. Soldier can do well because of the extra health because some nodes will have a massive fight going on. Scout because of what I mentioned above, soldier because thermal grenades can help protect a node and warcry used properly can let you and a buddy wipe out 3-4 enemies trying to take a node. Scientist is tricky because of the low health but is really fast and can get from node to node in a hurry to start taking them. Also if you get up to a 7 kill streak and get the rocket cannon you can wipe a whole team out that trying to take a node.

Players on both teams where using mics and telling other players not to shoot.
Each team took one power node and the 3rd power node was switch between mode team gaining extreme xp score anyone who didn't play onlong was hunting down and killed. This is not the way to play the game...

That's why I tend to not play the game when people has mics. Some people are good, they only talk after the fight. Some people are just plain noisy all the time.

They were boosting. Just trying to get XP to raise levels. I think if you find yourself in one of those games, the best thing to do is just bail unless you want to play along. I still haven't found myself in one accidentally yet, so I'm happy for that. Usually people arrange that kind of thing as an Xbox live party, so people don't stumble in accidentally.

I have noticed user generated matches like that do not give xp. Probably a way to to nix boosting in a private environment.
