This is what makes it fun to be a collector of Transformers, you get to be a kid again every once in a while.
You're off a year, except with Goldbug: the movie figures were released in 1986. Unless you happen to live in Europe, where everything is a year behind
But I do agree it's nice to see them. Except now you actually have the opportunity to buy whichever figures you want

Except for the fact that Rodimus and Cyclonus are in a two pack with a target master. I wanted to be all inclusive.
Hasbro has done us good with this set of "Classics".

It is cool though. Hopefully we CAN get some 1987 figures like Chromedome and Brainstorm, and also some 1988 guys like Backstreet and Spinister.

I'm still hoping for a Classics Scorponok, the one from Energon doesn't do it for me (even though it does work nicely for Donkeypunch).

LMAO while at work....!!!
Well it does feel like 1986. I just got my case of 4 +1 with Thundercracker x2, Scourge, Kup, and Wheeljack. Wheeljack is so cool I love the toy. I hate thet wrenches but I use those as the shoulder cannons and the shoulder missile as a gun. When Perceptor gets here I'll have the Victory G1 repair team.
I also had Wheeljack and Ratchet create the PCC Dinobots with Grimstone know known as Slag, and Grimlock as king of all of them. I feel like I was when I was 13 playing with all my Transformers. Now I have to get Ultra Magnus and I-gear Arcee. My Cygar heads should be coming soon.
Yeah I miss 1984 - 1988, those were good times for a toy nerd.

It's a crude term that I won't get into detail about here. Oh, and guys? It won't ever die. No worries.

*High Fives* Hey-ooooh! I have to admit I literally did laugh out loud, but couldn't tell my co-workers why.

Probably because Transformers somewhat faded into obscurity in that era. Remember? Kids growing up, not liking season 3 (no Optimus!), not to mention the cartoon being canceled... Not everyone read the Marvel comics, you know?

A tragedy by itself.
But I also wish some of the later toys would come around, I missed out on those. I wonder if a smaller reissue of Fort Max would be feasible. Perhaps the size of the Transform Jr. toy. Remember those?

Only a few Japanese would. Which makes it even more obscure.
